If your looking for cheap prices and friendly staff this is the place for you. Been going here for over 20 years and they have always had everything i needed to get the job done. I highly recommend them I promise you will be very satisfied with this company.

100% Do Not Use This Company

I had a small project where I ordered 69' of 72" vinyl privacy fence. After five months they scheduled installation. The installers were here for four hours and said they were done. The fence is crooked in places, not level in others and looks horrible. In addition, they did not cap the posts.

I have tried to leave email and voicemail messages. No luck. I am being ignored.

Just because you see the Mills name on fences around does not mean they are a reputable company. Fair warning if you decide to use them.

The customer service here is shoty. If you have a deadline to meet on a project don’t count on mills helping you in anyway meeting that deadline. They attempted to charge me 300 dollars for a mile delivery on a load of wood that fit in my Chevy. 78 pickets and 40 2x4. Mcabe lumber is 75 dollars all day for a 25 Mile radius. It seems like the staff has a personal vendetta against small businesses that spend 3 grand a month. I guess that is not enough money in their eyes to receive quality customer service. Or even a sorry or to sympathize with my frustration it’s almost like this happens daily to everyone and it’s expected.at least when I make a trip here it’s expected

The guys that work in the wood shop treat me with a great deal of respect and they are talented at what they do. I can’t begin to imagine how much money mills fence looses bc of bad customer service in the office. I don’t know if these people are family and grandfathered in as employees but the obviously don’t care. They don’t great you when you walk in the door. Especially the guy on the left when you walk in. The guy on the right isn’t bad either or Sarah. Every experience is not a good one. They should reimburse sam1 for their mixups, and any time wasted, waiting on mixups, but one that mentioned they just shrug their shoulders like my time is it money

Needless to say, I’ve been using mcabe lumber for 7 years I wanted to switch to a smaller local company. I have used them for the past 6 months spent over 10 grand in 6 months. I am not happy at all I’m writing this review in the parking lot since I have been sitting here 2 hours for something I was told they had here ready I get here they then say they had to build it. Turns out after another hour they had what I wanted all ready built sitting in the wrong place.

We made a deposit of $3500.00 in March and as of July 11,2023 we still have no fence! All correspondence has been initiated by myself or my husband. They have never contacted us with any updates. Do not hire Mills Fence.

Unload very fast big staff moon too much trash and complicates the maneuver to get in and out

Such great customer service, Amanda made scheduling a consult super easy. Billy was great and very professional when he came out to my parents to help my mom figure out what would be best and pricing. I recommend this place to anyone looking for a new fence. If i could give 6 stars to the people that work here I would.

I would give them a zero if I could! I paid my deposit in August of 2022.it is mid May and still no fence. They have the absolute worst customer service. I rarely take the time to write a review, but the experience with them has been awful.

I was quoted in August '22 and told that install would be 10 weeks. When I called 8 weeks after making the initial deposit to find out my schedule date, they told me it would be the end of February '23. I requested calls from the manager that were never returned. Then they did the install but did not adjust the invoice for the over estimate of panels needed to do that. When I requested an adjustment, they sent people out to my house without telling me and counted the panels that they did not install. After being threatened to have a lien put on my home by Peter for their mistake, I spoke to his manager. She "corrected" the invoice but no where close to the pricing they gave per panel. They should have taken off nearly $300 not $179. I was also told they give a military discount, but clearly they do not care about Veterans either because no discount was given for that. I would not recommend you do business with this company as they are not honest people.

I was pleased with fence install but trying to communicate with management and getting the project completely wrapped up has been more than terrible…. Mainly with the electrical work, customer service needs a lot of work.

Had Mills Fence Co.out to quote a new fence last year. The sales appointment went fine and like I thought it should. The only thing there was they missed a gate and then had to charge me for a change order on that, which I am still no thrilled with. We were to be installed in Dec. 2022. When I called in to confirm the install before we left on vacation, they said we are weeks behind, so not sure why no one called to reschedule you, so I put things on hold at that point. I called in weeks later after Christmas of 2022 to get back on the books. We had some things come up, so put off until two weeks ago. The install took place two weeks ago. Their company states on the quote approval that they want the experience to be as smooth and stress-free as possible from start to finish. NOT! This has been a nightmare and I get more and more infuriated as the days go by that I get zero response and action to what is going to be done to fix my fence, all the issues going on, and very poor craftsmanship that happened. They also state they will walk through the project with the homeowner with the crew leader, NOT! They never walked through the project with my wife and all they had her do is sign the change order. I called and told them not what I wanted and how I wanted it set up when my wife called me and sent me a picture. They could have fixed things then but didn't. They say they do this to ensure all parties agree with placements and layouts, so it is installed right the first time. The fence is not what I wanted, how I wanted it, and still several repairs and issues going on and yet no response from anyone in the company. Says when the process is complete will be thoroughly pleased, I'm not due to bad craftsmanship, poor install process, and horrible communication! DO NOT USE THEM!

I don’t know what has happened to this company but you expect for the amount money that they charge, you would get a professionally installed fence. Before you hire Mills, understand that they subcontract the work out, at least the Walton branch does and the people who installed our fence admitted to only doing fences as a side job, admitted to not reading the quote and installed posts in the wrong place, admitted to not knowing how to do gates and their work proved it. You’ll get no where with “management” and at the end of the day, all they care about is getting paid. Save yourself some headache and hard earned money and just pay the guy directly who doesn’t know how to install a fence, at least you won’t be disappointed and it will be cheaper.

Their customer service is beyond subpar. Considering they are a fencing company I would like to think their expertise would be in fencing. However, when you call to inquire about what you may need, because obviously fencing is not my expertise you get attitude. Estella was no where near helpful. In fact stated she was busy with clients coming in and she didn't have the time to assist me. She didn't offer to call back, put me on hold a moment, nor could she provide a time for me to reach back out.it was just I'm busy and when I get to it I'll get to it. (As I had sent an email with my inquiry days prior to me calling.) This is the second time I've dealt with this type of unprofessional behavior at Mills Fencing. The first I overlooked because every dog has their day but now reading the reviews I see this is how most customers are handled and I guess my question is when will it change? They offer customer service training in numerous places and perhaps it would be something worth looking into at Mills Fencing. In the meantime, I'm looking for recommendations as I prefer to not give them anymore of my business.

Do not ever use Mills Fence. They sent workers out to install my fence without marking the power lines, which set the project back several weeks. In that time period, workers had to leave all their materials at my house, which killed my grass and Mills refused to pay fix the dead grass because I had a kids soccer net in the back yard and that could have been what killed the grass. I was passed along to several different employees throughout the whole process and everyone just passed the buck or dodged me the entire time. They are a very shady company. Take your money elsewhere.
