Mizu Sushi And Grill, Zanesville OH

3 or 4 groups came in after us and had their meals within 5 minutes of ordering while our table and 1 other table had to wait over 45 minutes for ours. Some people came, ate and were gone before our meal was served. Even though the food was good I'll never be back.

The food is amazing. I have a co-worker who was stationed overseas that suggested we go; saying it was the best sushi he's had since coming back from Japan and other places. No lie- I didn't think I liked sushi!
Mizu is clean, has delicious food, and great service. Absolutely amazing selection and their special rolls are the bomb.

I stopped for dinner and ordered takeout. I got the Dinner- Teriyaki Steak Bento Box. Food tasted good, it was hot, and only took 15 minutes. Okay price & a great portion size!

This is Zanesville hidden gem! Sushi, Saka and even chicken teriyaki, best fried rice, and the staff! Talk about friendly, willing to explain things about menu items you are unsure about. If you have not tried Mizu yet, hands down you are truly missing one of Zanesville finest dining experiences Price is $$$ I have taken time to update gogglers on their menu and drink menu. Food can be $$$ but there are items that are not so costly. No matter what you order the food is always great and the staff is very friendly. The bento boxes and hibachi is amazing! Huge selection of sushi and sashimi (raw, cooked or lightly fried).

Absolutely beautiful playing and the food is even better than it looks! The staff is super friendly and helpful. It was my first experience with a sushi bar and my waitress had no problem explaining the menu and suggesting some rolls for a first timer. I couldn't recommend this place any higher than 5 stars but if I could I would!

Fantastic place to eat. Very clean, and the food is on point. Any time that I am in the area I make sure to stop. Their hot pot is delicious, especially if you get it extra spicy.

The food here is very good. The atmosphere is great. The restaurant is cute and clean. The only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is because the service could be a little bit better.

There food is 100% amazing everything is so good the way they bring your food on fancy plates amazing. I recommend this place to everyone at work. My favorite dish is the crazy dragon.

I really liked this place but this last time I ordered destroyed the image I had of this restaurant. I ended up having trouble with grub hub not having delivery drivers so when I reordered my food for me to come and pick it up, they gave me the original order that had been sitting in the bag for over an hour instead of remaking it. If I'm spending about $30 on food per person, I'd atleast like my food to be a little warm. Everything was soggy and falling apart. I'm just going to go to columbus for my sushi

This place has amazing sushi. The quality and presentation is as good as you would expect in Columbus. Fast and friendly service. Their other food is delicious as well.

I've been to a lot of different Japanese restaurants, and this is definitely the best one out of them all. Even their plain fried rice is delicious. I was very satisfied with everything I ordered, and they were super fast getting my food out to me. The soup was actually hot, too, instead of just warm, and that usually never happens when I get takeout. A+

Great food and kind servers. They have a lot of great vegetarian options, which is always a plus for me. I got a side of hibachi fried rice and sweet potato rolls, which were both delicious!

Took a significant amount of time for a server to take our dinner order (there were 4 other parties in the restaurant). Equally slow was the food prep. Food was not too bad when we got it. Make sure you have the time to wait.

Honestly, the best restaurant in Zanesville bar none. Amazing sushi at a reasonable price for how quality it is. You can tell how much pride, confidence, and passion goes into the food from the minute you lay eyes upon it. The staff are professional and friendly which cultivates a fun, laid back atmosphere that so many other restaurants try and fail to do. If you're not interested in sushi, Mizu has you covered with so many other options to choose from you'll have a hard time choosing because they all sound and taste exceptional. Teriyaki, udon, fried rice, traditional favorites like General Tso's and orange chicken, and everything in between are all fantastic and can fit any occasion. Want to go out with the boys for some General Tso's? Mizu has you covered. Got a hot date and want to impress your partner? Take them to Mizu and partake in some elegant sushi. I've been a regular customer of Mizu for the better part of 2 years and will continue to be for as long as I am in Zanesville.

Went for the first time tonight. The food was ok but the service took to long we waited 45min for our food not a pleasant experience.

Food is great. The only reason I gave them a 3 was because they overcharged my debit card once and when I made them aware they acted rude when I requested them to refund my money - but they did make it right
