I’ve been going to MJ Luxxe Styles 8 months now and i won’t go anywhere else for my extensions! I’ve had extensions for 2 years before i moved to Columbus and had a terrible experience with them due to how they were sewn into my head which created terrible migraines and headaches since i’m more sensitive to the average person.

I was very nervous to get them again but wanted long thick hair and MJ made me feel very comfortable! I love the way she sews them in and she actually makes mine looser than the average person due to my migraine problem so that when i leave the salon i don’t have any issues! If I ever feel they are too tight she will loosen them for free. I would not trust or go anywhere else for my extensions because i love the way these make me feel and her technique I have not seen anywhere else which is what i love. She can keep adding hair into one row and it feels SO thin and light compared to other extensions that feel super heavy in your hair.

I am absolutely amazed at the work and quality of my hair that MJ done. She is fantastic and I highly recommend. Even the atmosphere is gorgeous, clean, fun, and relaxing. Thanks so much MJ!

I have never experienced a better first time appointment when it comes to my hair. Hennessy was not only the sweetest but very educated. She completely transformed my hair and I’ve never felt more confident. I cannot wait to get back into the chair to let her work her magic. She has a new, loyal client now!

Alli. I can say is amazing, I have to admit I had a crying meltdown with the holidays and losing family that loved me unconditionally, They were all so sweet and understanding. They were so professional and caring. My hair is perfect with cut and color. Highly recommended this salon. Best place in Columus area in my opinion

Wow! I felt like sooo taken care of by Hennessy and her mom MJ! Hennessy gave me haircut I was looking for and she did it perfectly! Not only was it a great cut the process was fantastic! It was like a girls date! They’re so loving and kind- highly recommend these talented ladies!

Highly recommend! Hennessy and MJ literally saved my hair from another salons disaster. I went in absolutely distraught and unsure on how my hair could ever be fixed, to leaving feeling confident with beautiful hair again. Hennessy was so reassuring through the process and extremely talented. All around great experience!

Horrible experience. My hair used to be almost to my hips and I’m very protective of it. I went in for a consultation and was told what i wanted was possible in the time i had for the price i could pay. If it would’ve needed to be a multi session situation i would’ve waited until after the wedding. I saw Mia and the owner during my consultation which went great! Unfortunately it was all a lie. I have text proof of MJ admitting the reference photo i wanted was that way because of extensions. She repeatedly told me it didn’t look how i wanted because i couldn’t afford it which was baffling. She threw Mia under the bus and talked about her private matters like her addiction and recovery which seemed wild. One she realized i wanted my money back (over 400 plus a tip and i bought Mia dinner). She tried to say my reference was a photo i had sent to Mia and I’m not sure if that was Mia’s doing or MJ being daft but i did NOT want the photo she sent me.

By the end of all of this i had to drive to Alabama to my best friend to fix it and i lost 9 inches off my hair AND have the worst banding I’ve ever had in my life. They both refuse to give me my money back, even partial, and MJ is incredibly aggressive when she feels cornered. She will throw you as a client AND her stylists under the bus at the drop of a hat. She repeatedly said it was my finances and even went as far as saying Mia needed to educate her clients better. I’m not uneducated. You guys just lie.

Unprofessional. Uppity vibe in the salon. Also, if you go to the woman that sits next to Mia and you were talking to her about your personal marriage/life drama. Stop. She gossips about you to her clients and was full out laughing with a client about you and your awful situation. Disgusting behavior all around.

Photos of the banding, how long it WAS/how bad it looked after Mia did it and then how short i had to go to try to save it.

LOVE This place, absolutely beautiful! Every girl there was such a sweet heart! The chairs to the sink where you get your hair washed have back massagers, I mean what can be better than that? ! 10/10 recommend! Stevie did an amazing job on my hair, I am so happy with how it turned out! For sure will be coming back, love love love

This place is AMAZING! They did extensions for my wedding and they blended beautifully and were absolutely perfect. Natasha and her team are the sweetest, most uplifting people and they will make you feel more beautiful than ever before. I live in Las Vegas and I’ll continue to keep coming back because they’re so worth it!

I usually don’t leave reviews but Hennessy and MJ are literally the best and made me feel like family! They are very professional and the best at what they do! The bottom line is making you love your hair and making you feel good not money. I can’t say enough good things! Highly recommend

HAD A WONDERFUL EXPERIENCE AT MJ LUXE STYLES WITH MJ AND HER GROUP. LOVE THEM! HAD MY MAKEUP DONE AND I LOOKED LIKE A PROFESSIONAL MODEL. SO THRILLED I FOUND MY HOME FOR MY HAIR. XOOX

Natasha was absolutely amazing when I had surgery and could barely even reach my head, much less wash or style it. She came to my house and took such great care of my hair - I had just gotten a new job and she had me looking professional and ready for all of my zoom calls! I couldn’t have done it without her! Highly recommend her, my hair has never looked or felt better!

The most amazing experience! I would give them 10 stars if I could. They make you feel so comfortable and truly listen to what you want. I’ve never loved my hair more!

I don’t want to be typing for the next hour because I promise i could giving mj and her stylist props, from the moment i walked into the salon i felt like a million bucks! As i told mj her salon alone had be feeling boujee it was a great feeling. Her daughter hennessy did my hair she’s also amazing. Mj was there every step of the way just in case Hennessy had any sort of question. They’re definitely a team there, i loved seeing it. When i left not only did i feel super beautiful BUT i felt so empowered i texted MJ immediately to let her know how much she inspired me. I will literally never go to another salon again. Bonus: they ordered pizza while i was there and fed me by the time you leave i promise you’ll feel like family no joke! 100/100 recommend

I absolutely love the environment and atmosphere at MJ Luxe Styles. Everyone is so uplifting and honest and such a good time. They make you feel like family when you are sitting in that chair. I’m obsessed with my new style and so is everyone else.:)
