I had the pleasure of visiting Mod Nail Salon for the first time yesterday, and I brought my daughter along with me. My experience was absolutely fantastic! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted by a team of highly professional and welcoming staff in a salon that exuded beauty and cleanliness.

What impressed me most was their patience and attentiveness towards my daughter, who had a flurry of questions and unique color preferences for each nail. Shilah, one of the nail artists, was incredibly sweet and kind to her, providing a delightful experience.

As for my own manicure and pedicure, Julia worked her magic. She not only delivered a stunning result but also went the extra mile by adding an additional coat of base, which is a testament to her commitment to quality. This was particularly important to me as I have weak nails.

I am genuinely thrilled with my visit to Mod and can confidently say that I'll be returning in the future. In fact, I'm seriously considering making Mod my go-to nail salon. The exceptional service and care we received have left a lasting impression.

My mother comes here all the time for her pedicures and suggested them when I wanted to get my nails done for engagement photos. I never get my nails done as I am extremely hands on so nails constantly chip and are short plus you never know what you might get for going to a new salon.

I booked for acrylics and Tim was extremely sweet and professional as well. I have never had my nails done without a single imperfection, or streaky or uneven nails until him. He took his time and made sure every nail was up to a high standard of care.

And of course the minute I got home one of them did end up chipping. I didn’t want to make a big deal out of it since it always happens when i get my nails done but i was stressed about pictures. I called the salon to leave a voicemail and Tim was able to book me for a quick repair with Brooke the next morning. The team was so professional and kind about the situation and completely understood the stress and pressure. 11/10 customer service. And I will definitely come back again to get my nails done by their team

I had previously gone to Mod Salon before they moved locations and really liked it here. Unfortunately, I had a bad experience today. I booked this appointment a month in advance for a gel manicure with complex nail art because I wanted something spooky and pretty for October. I came to the appointment and my nails were different lengths. She asked how I would like her to handle that and I asked if she could extend one of the nails, she said she did not really do that. No problem, I was happy to work around it and proceeded to show her the nail art inspiration, picture included. She proceeded to tell me that what I wanted was beyond her level of skill. That she could really only do lines or dots or simple designs. I then double checked with her verbally that I had, in fact, booked the appointment with the “complex nail art” add on and she confirmed I did, but that again she could only do simple things. My question is then, why allow me to book a complex nail art appointment with someone who can’t do it? Maybe it is a system flaw in booking that allows it, but if that was the case, I booked it a month ago; it would have been nice to have gotten a call or something to tell me that that person could only do simple art or try to re-book me with Brooke, who Bora indicated is the person who works in the salon who can do complex nail art? I’m just incredibly disappointed because I get my nails done like once a year and was so excited about this since I had never gotten nail art and had a vision in mind. The only reason I am leaving 2 stars instead of 1 is that when I politely asked if I could go ahead and cancel the appointment in light of the news that she could not do what I was looking for and what I had booked, she was kind and apologetic and let me cancel on the spot no problem. I understand she may have been put in this position so I don’t want to blame her, but maybe management can prevent this problem for others in the future.

My regular nail girl stopped doing pedicures recently. I called Mod Salon and asked if they had any openings on that day. They said they could get me in at 4pm and service would be “about an hour”.

I get there at 4 & let them know I just wanted white gel polish. I was informed that they didn’t have enough time to do gel.

At that point, I didn’t have much of a choice. I have a newborn & a child in travel sports, to try to get another appointment I could end up waiting weeks.

As I am paying, I told the associate checking me out that the girl who assisted me was nice, did a decent job, but that I wish I would have been told they only had time for regular polish. Regular polish never lasts on me for more than a week or two. She told me that I need to tell them I want gel at booking.

I think the communication is off and the salon should have asked what services I was looking for before booking me & then limiting me on my selections.

Beautiful, immaculately clean, and light-filled space. The owners have taken such care to create a completely customized space. I was surprised at the hour-long thorough service I received just with a “basic” pedicure. Jen and Bo were personable and attentive during service. It’s also wonderful that they’ve found a location to settle into in Old Hilliard - a much improved experience over a strip mall setting.

Had the best experience here! Couldn’t ask for a better environment. Took my daughter for her 11th birthday and everyone was great! Best pedicure I’ve had in years and she loved her nails. We will definitely be back. Already booked my daughter another appointment. Thanks for helping make her day special.

The staff are amazing, patient, and kind. I love going here and they were amazing my my 6 year old and 4 year old wanted mani/pedis too. I know I will always get an amazing mani/pedi with any staff member.

Everyone is amazing at Mod Salon! They are friendly and welcoming and Josie always does an amazing job with my manicures. I would recommend them to anyone!
