Molto Bene Italian Eatery, Lakewood OH

My husband and I ate here for the first time last night. Everything was delicious! I thought it was pretty reasonably priced for the quality you get. The complimentary bread they serve before dinner was so delicious as well. I had lobster ravioli and my husband ordered the frutti di mare and both were amazing. The sauce for the frutti di mare was so good, I kept dipping the bread in it. Lobster ravioli great too, large chunks of lobster inside with a great cream sauce! We will definitely be back!

This is me and my fiancé’s favorite italian restaurant! The service and the food is always immaculate! I recommend making a reservation because the restaurant is very small so make sure you save your spot!

The food was prepared with passion and care. My wife and I both ordered the Spaghetti Al Frutti Di Mare. Our meals arrived hot (the way it should be) and all the ingredients were "fresh" and blended so well => may be the best Frutti Di Mare on the westside.

Carlo, the owner, and his team are personable and attentive to each dinner guests' needs. Overall, an excellent dinning experience.

Sat at a high top table. Not very comfortable. It's a small place so a reservation is a good idea. Parking is also at a premium. The food is very good

This place feels exclusive from reservation to dining. Here’s why that’s a good thing:

The space is so cozy and small, the service is warm and personal. Don’t rely on the guest photos… the lighting is low, the music is not too loud. The tables are simple because they turn them over for the next guests with a quick flourish.

We had fresh toasted bread on the table within minutes of seating, pasta dishes were served piping hot, and the sauces were perfect. I was given a thoughtful wine recommendation to compliment my pasta, and everything was delicious.

We were sadly too full for dessert this time, but hope to return for another special occasion.

Having checked this place out on the verbal recommendation of friends, we will be happy to keep passing that along:)

Very good authentic Italian. We loved the focaccia. I had the carbonara and my boyfriend had shrimp pasta. We also got the chef special appetizer which was large shrimp in a tomato cream sauce. The carbonara had really crispy pieces of pancetta and the sauce was divine. The sangria was fine. We will absolutely 1000% be back

Legit Italian food from legit Italian folks. Moltobene cooks everything to order! For the first time since I visited Italy 6 years ago, I finally found a restaurant that cooks risotto perfectly al dente. Clean plate club over here! Good sized portions. Delectable food. You won't be disappointed.unless you fail to make a reservation. Only 10-ish tables in the joint. Moltobene is a small bungalow-converted restaurant with a homey atmosphere and an upscale menu. Gelato is to die for too!

Authentic. Good service. Fair portions. I cannot recommend it enough for your Italian food fix. The staff is friendly and attentive. I got the Linguine Vongole and it was delicious, will be going back.

Honestly I hate to be this person. I have been in a service industry for 10 plus years. The food was PHENOMENAL but the service was absolutely the worst I have ever had. We had 3 different staff come to our table & nobody introduced themselves, we had no idea who our server was. After ordering our food, with barely anyone in the restaurant, we waited almost an hour for the food. During that wait, nobody checked up on us even though one of the young staff that had come to our table earlier, was standing around laughing, looking at our table but deliberately ignoring us. We waited 20 plus minutes to get more water (I had to get up & ask someone for water). We also had to ask for the check 3 times. Food 10/10, Service 0/10. Service can literally run a restaurant into the ground so please consider restaffing.

My dinner club had a wonderful dining experience at Molto Bene! Food was great and service was exceptional. Patio seating was available and enjoyable. Great vegetarian options and also lots of options if you enjoy seafood.

Charming venue with authentic, flavorful meals, apps, salads. Simple but lovely wine selection. Recommend highly!

I cannot recommend this place enough! The food is superb! The vibes are right and service was great as well. Definitely will be back and it won’t be soon enough!

I ordered bruschetta, and expected to get get diced tomatoes and they were big tomatoe half’s, I specifically said balsamic vinegar on the side they didn’t send it, and the bruschetta made me really sick. I took one bite and threw it up. The waiter was very rude, and I got a racist vibe from here. I will not be spending my money here again
