Horrible place to work.have a dumb point system and don't care about any of these employees. I got broken tendons from working there missed a bunch of days with doctors notes and still they fired me over some points I'm disappointed because I could of saw myself working there for a long time had they worked with me just a little bit.
Very, roomy docking area staff are always driver friendly. Most of my loads are drop and hook and are ready when they are supposed to be. But on occasion it's a live load and they work hard to get you out. There is a truck world truck stop about 1/2 a mile up the street from here, which is convenient also.
The company itself is horrible, they do not care about the employees not in the slightest. I work third shift and I have had drive trough whiteouts and power outages because they didn't cancel the shift like they do for first and second shift. For incentives we get stale pizza they bought earlier that day but didn't refrigerate while the other shifts get food trucks and cook outs. Third shift is always on over time even when we're ahead on orders and the other shifts aren't on overtime. The company also refuses to follow their own code, one time the system was down and they canceled a weeks worth of shifts they were supposed to us 60 percent of our paycheck as stated in the company handbook for when three or shifts are canceled in a row but no they said if we wanted paid twe had to use our PTO hours (paid time off) wich is our only way of having time off, we don't get sick days or vacation time its all wrapped into our PTO which we only get we only get four and a half hours of after two week of perfect attendance. All in all I would not recommend this as a a place to work or any moms meals facility.
Good place to work. Much overtime to be had. If you're looking for long term employment with benefits come on out to North Jackson and apply. Use me as your referral.
They were able to unload me 4 hours early. I wasn't expecting it. They were real nice an friendly. I hope to deliver there again soon.
