Best work environment and best management I’ve ever seen! Our DON Ashlee is very efficient and friendly and cares for the patients and our unit manager is one of the best nurses I’ve ever seen and you can tell that she loves her job and caring for the residents

This is a TOP facility in my eyes! Nursing is on top of everything and the place looks and smells so good!

Housekeeping is exceptional Mary Eldred is really nice and speaks to every one. The nursing staff is great and brings meds on time. Caleb and the rest of house keeping is exceptional also. Maintenance is great also.

Caleb and the housekeeping team fulfills every request given and treats me like a friend Cameron is a good young man and Mary is always 5 stars. Nursing is also 5 stars nurse kim is very personable and tends to all her patients and does her due diligence

I’ve been trying to call this place for over 2 days and nothing but ring tone! Phones in rooms don’t work! No one is ever up front and no type of security. Not a safe place for your family member! This place is dirty, unprofessional, only come around when they get visitors! A lawsuit will surely be filed against them soon for negligence.

I have been working in this facility as an agency nurse for a while and I found it to be the most organized and well staffed place with great Administration. The STNAs are amazing and work as a team! The unit managers have great respect amongst each other and they work as a team! Keep the great work!

For 7 months i would go visit my sister almost every day here. I did her laundry due to her clothes kept coming up missing.many times i would have to tell the aide to change her or her bed. I would ask them guestions and the answers was.don’t know need to ask nurse, or need to ask aide.if they were off their phones behind the station or not smoking. If you could talk and eat and pee and poop on your own you had it made. My sis had alzhimers and needed a lot of help.they sometimes did their job BUT THAT WAS IT.couple of days before my sis passed i went up and she was in her room in a wheel chair crying out to our mother with food caked on her face where the aide tried to feed her. Wth.they couldn’t wipe her face…. I just feel that she needed more help then what they gave her. Don’t call after hours or you MIGHT GET THROUGH, and if you do, you will talk to someone that can’t talk English.seriously…my daughter and I went up one night and found her dead in her bed when i was told that someone would be sitting with her due to her going through transition.they would call me if any change. And she was even under Bella Care Hospice.i will not recomend this place to anyone…. I wish i had other options at other places.

While nothing will compare to having your loved ones at home, Monterey is close in the nursing home field. I had my mother in there with dementia, after many tours of other facilities. They showed such caring with her, when we needed a place for another family member the choice was easy. They continue with their excellent service & advice.

As a hospice stna I can honestly say that the management staff here is nothing short of amazing, patients and families are always their #1 priority. With that being said, they always treat their employees and vendors as family and are constantly showing their appreciation. I was the hospice aide in this building for a few years prior to covid and now my partner and I have been back here for over a year now, with the staffing challenges that the world has had both during and after covid, they have pulled together and got through it as a TEAM to ensure our patients didn’t suffer from it. To me, that’s what it’s all about because the patients are the reason we are all here working!

For the year I've been here houskeeping has done a great job helping me my room is always nice couldn't ask for better

This is my first job, it’s the perfect job while I’m in high school. Housekeeping and laundry is easy and Caleb is a cool supervisor

Monterey has really come a long way. There is a family vibe between staff in the building. We all work together to make sure the patients are properly taken care of from management to nursing, kitchen, activities and housekeeping. I’m happy to say I work at Monterey!

When I first came to Monterey I was homeless but being here has turned my life around the nurses have taken great care of me and housekeeping is excellent my room and the building is so clean Caleb the manager is amazing he goes above and beyond. I recommend Monterey 100 percent!

Been here a year and I’m happy with the care I get everyday. My room and bathroom are always clean. I wouldn’t want to be in any other nursing home.

The Grove City Monterey Team (Nurses, Aides and Therapist) provides our Mom highly professional treatment and care. In addition to their medical professionalism, they consistently demonstrate compassion, kindness, and friendliness… a willingness to assist and provide her comfort in every way possible. We have high confidence as they continue their genuine care for Mom!
