19Checked in online before going. Checked in once able at the location and got called right away. Friendly staff and was in and out rather quickly
Only 3 attendants. One of which could only do tag renewel. So if no one in line needed tags he sat there with nothing to do. Manager tried to speed things along. Bottom line, they need more help. I got there at 745. Was 15th in line. Left at 930.
Wait was 2 hours and 14 minutes but when I got to the window for driver's license renewal, it went fine. Michelle was super helpful after what must have been a long day for her.
The employees were very, very nice. However I waited 3.5 hours for a driver's license. There's no way that is reasonable. At all. The state needs to do a better job.
Standing outside in 90 degree weather, people of all ages. They SHOULD DEMAND ALL LICENSE PLATES BE DONE BY MAIL. THOSE are people clogging up line fir peopke who HAVE to get in person drivers license
I suppose expecting to be told what documents need to be sent to Columbus is asking too much. Now for the second day in a row I will have to wait my happy butt in line just to take care of in two trips what should have been handled in one.
While I never enjoy visiting the BMV, no matter what state I have lived, the experience this morning was the best ever by the Montgomery staff. While I just needed to renew my license, it took a mere 5 minutes and they had me in and out. Kudos to the entire team and thank you.
Don't bother taking a number here. The staff don't call out numbers and the dumber part of the population just cuts when they feel like it. Staff does nothing about it. On the bright side, if you need work I'm pretty sure they'd hire just about anyone here.
Long wait, little clarity or explanation of license plate renewal charges included late penality
The man was very unpleasant and not helpful at all with letting me know what I needed for a compliant license. I travel a lot and wanted to get a compliant license. I had my mail, old license, birth certificate, social security card, marriage license and my passport. He just stared at me like I was inconveniencing him so I said I guess I'll get the standard and be back in 2 years. I've never had a bad experience at the DMV until today.
Richard is very rude. Doesn’t seem to like his job and when he was finished registering me he threw my papers down and walked in the back room.
Worst bmv ever! Had to go 3 times in 2 days and couldn’t get my work done! Had to get new drivers license, They always needed something new every time I would go there or their system was down after waiting for 2 hours with a toddler! Plus, you can’t use phones! How come other bmvs allow phones or tablets? ! Do yourself a favor and don’t ever go there! Additionally, the young guy that works there is rude, teach your employees how to be nice to customers! Never going back there ever again!
Both times I have called I have been very satisfied with their help and answers to my questions. Nice place!
An employee by the name of Richard requested an ID for a service dog, which violates federal law. When advised that there are no required IDs for service dogs he continued to argue with the handler until they pulled up the ADA laws on their phone. Teach your employees about service dogs and ADA law.
Granted, my expectations at the BMV are low.but I was pleasantly surprised. I went at 12: 30 on a Thursday and was in and out in 15 minutes. I was 5th in line when I got there. The employees all seemed pleasant.
Great place to go and normally come here. I would normally give this place 5 stars but had a TERRIBLE experience with one clerk. Please avoid clerk named KRISTIN. She is very rude and has no customer service skills whatsoever.
Seriously, the best BMV I have been to. Courteous, competent, and efficient. Would highly recommend them.
Over 24 people waiting in line, older short haired bitty behind the counter is rude, snippy and acts like she'd rather be anywhere else, she was smirking and making fun of the patrons one by one as they left her counter, thats disturbing on so many levels. I lucked out and got called up to someone else's counter. Wow.
