Moore Bros Hardware Inc, Byesville OH

Good hardware store but they need to update hours on there web page says there open on Sundays. Drove there and there closed on sundays.

Moore Bros is a great hardware. The owner John is very knowledgeable and helpful. Unfortunately, he's about the only one. The women working the register are indifferent to your business. No hello, no smile, no eye contact and a less than enthusiastic thank you if you're lucky enough to get one. In general I just don't get the feeling that my business is appreciated if it's anyone other than John.

They go above and beyond to satisfy a customer. The item that I needed had just arrived but wasn't on the floor yet. John took it right out of the shipping box for me.

John was great! Helped me with my plumbing and helped me find everything I needed. Even have a great selection of bulk seed.

Not only do they go out of their way to be helpful and nice, the staff makes it a point to make sure you have everything you need and answer questions about the particular job or project you are working on. The prices of most goods are fair, and it beats going to a big store with unhelpful and unknowledgeable people. If you need something for a home improvement job, this is an excellent stop! If they don't have it, they will even tell you where you can find it!

The employees were so helpful. Had a friend mounting a TV on an entertainment center, because it was too heavy for me. 3/4 of the way through, we ran out of the screws we needed. It was 5: 42pm and they closed at 6pm.

We pulled into the empty lot and every employee turned to look and I wad expecting the " OMG. You had to wait till the last second. I want to go home" look be didn't get it. Instead when we went in we were greeted with smiles, hellos and how can I help your. We needed several different item, so they divided and conquered. We had everything we needed by 6pm, including 2 keys that were made.

We paid for our purchases and got a cheerful have a nice night on the way out the door. The store was clear and obviously well-maintained. Some hardware stores have a stale smell because of all the different chemicals and some of the materials used to make the items, but not here. The store smelled fresh and clean. Moore's will be my hardware store of choice. Have a great Christmas.

A great hardware store! Very helpful clerks. We were only there about 15 minutes due to the helpful guy there!

Great place to quickly get any hardware item. The floor staff know where everything is located and have a working knowledge of solutions or suggestions. Clean and orderly shelves and a large stock of day to day needs i.e. Paints, plumbing, nuts and bolts, window screen and glass repair, FR clothing, propane tank refill. Prices are more than competitive with the large chains and I don't have to deal with indifference. Love to have my business appreciated and can tell they do!

Great selection. A little higher priced but it's the only hardware store in byesville. Very helpful. Only complaint. High pressure store. If you're a person who likes to figure things out on your own. Would not recommend. Full of "can i help you guys" and they do not like you trying to figure things out or getting what you need by yourself. They'll Hoover at the end of the Isle. Only doing their jobs but makes me uncomfortable

Hometown hardware store with good ol fashion customer service, if you dont know where to go there is almost always someone at the door to great you and take you where you need to go. Decent prices on all their tools, and a wide selection for all your weekend projects. Propane is also sold here so you can fill up to grill them ribs! Stop by and check them out!
