Motel 6 Amherst, OH - Cleveland West - Lorain

Nice place. A little expensive for a 2 night stay. Thursday, Friday but was worth every penny!

Easy in and out type place. Gas station and food nearby. Police are a constant presence here.

One day during the week I go and it's 63. Another day I go (different staff member) 74 a night. Mind you this is during the week as well. Place is dirty. Fridge had mold. No one is ever at the counter. If I could give a negative start I would

The motel was clean and convenient for our stay to visit family. We stayed 6 nights however when we checked out very early in the morning for our trip of 800 miles back home we realized that my wife had left some costume jewelry in the room. We called and ask to have housekeeping turn it in at the front desk so that some of our family living in the area could pick it up. Each time we called we were told we would have to call back at another time so we did and again were told to call back. Finally we just gave up. It was not the value however it was some of her favorite it was the constant run around that upset us the most. We have stayed here on several occasions and may well stay again but be sure to get all of your belongings before you leave

Cigarette burns on blankets, towels and washcloths were dirty and toilet clogged.
Pool was closed and no amenities like a basic refrigerator or soda machines that I saw.
If you’re looking for a cheap place for a night, this will fit your budget but this isn’t a place to be for any more than that

Dirty. The room wasn't touched other then them making the bed and putting towels back. Had to get new bedding so we could make the bed over. Then we didn't want to move until we left the next morning. Not for business, or families. Drug dealers fit right in, which I'm positive they have.

Room was awful. Smell so bad of bleach I'm sick now. There was hair in the shower the pillows were terrible. I won't ever stay there again. Outside was also discussing

The dirtiest place I ever stayed. Trash outside & dirty rooms. I would not advise anyone to ever stay there.

Lot's of noise and mayhem and fighting until midnight on a Friday night. Asked for two extra pillows was told hotel only had ONE!

God bless the lady at the front desk. Stayed here overnight on the way to Chicago and the first three rooms she gave us the keycard didn't work. Finally she got us in one. Huge crack across the TV, cigarette burns on the sheets, and the pillows were just beat. Got up early to get breakfast and the Denny's nearby looked literally abandoned.

I checked in, walked into my room, and went back for a refund within a 5 minute window (which I didn't get). This place is disgusting you should be ashamed of yourselves

I was very pleasantly surprised to find fresh, new, and tasteful decor. The room was super clean and the bed was comfortable and soft (this was the only hotel I've stayed in where I actually used the bedspread, if that's any indication!). The staff was super helpful, especially Mike. At first, I was concerned about the foot traffic, but the staff (and security of the room itself) made me feel safe. I stayed during the biggest snowstorm of the year, and management had people working to clear the snow (plowing, shoveling, etc.) around the clock. Overall, I was extremely pleased with my stay and would recommend this property without hesitation.

The heat didn’t come on for over an hour after we got there. Maintenance said this happened.
Beds were hard, pillows were barely a pillow. Bathroom was freezing. No phone service…
Drug deal going on, and just discussed with the overall of the place.
Never again will I stay here, and now because of this nasty place I’m not sure I would ever go to another motel 6.

Bed bugs. Been staying here for over a year whenever we come in to town. Never had an issue until this trip. The first night was fine, the second night our son woke up with a bed bug crawling on him. There was bed bug dust/eggs in both beds. The motel owners saw the bed bug and the dust/eggs in the beds and they still refused to give us our money back. They have made a killing off of my family this year and seriously wouldn't refund for this bed bug infested stay. We won't stay here again. We won't recommend this motel to anyone. Terrible.

Never again will i go to this location! Defiantly see the drug activity not to mention the bugs got a picture of a rouch crawling in the bathroom I left didn't even bother fighting with the lady to get a refund. Oh and the blankets had burn holes in them. Yikes

Me and my husband lives here we pay $323 a week and the housekeeping services is terrible we can't get them to clean the room and when talking to the front desk person he turned and said for those that are extended stay they do ther own room we only change towels you have to change your bed sweep and mop and clean the bathroom that's not how Motel works they get paid to do there job and in til this change my review will change.

I would give it less if I could! Definitely the spot drug addicts stay and the activity in parking lot was VERY noticeable! I went to check in at 630pm and had to go to a window due to front desk locked. Walked out and observed the people and activity going on in parking lot. Immediately left and had to sleep on a couch in a friend's room at a different hotel! I didnt even feel safe enough to get out of car and return room key so I went next day in daylight! Dog barking constantly right above what would be my room. Paint chipping off doors, tweekers in parking lot! No thanks! When I told them I didn't use room and why.no refund of any kind! All I got was "ok". If ur not looking to score something. I wouldn't stay there!

Best motel that we have stayed in. Everyone was very nice and rooms were spotless! Thank you. We will be back. The Smith's.
