Mount Carmel Medical Group Pickerington reviews
7Had my first appointment today and I have to say DR. Troy Johnson was awesome and extremely likable, made me feel comfortable my whole visit and made sure I had my questions answered and I understood what was being addressed. Staff was friendly and wait wasn't too bad and was able to walk over to their lab for blood work which was very convenient.
Thanks everyone for the input on reviews, it helps people like myself decide where/who to place the care of myself and family in their practice. Won’t be going to this place.
Unprofessional employees who can’t keep patient’s files together! What doctor’s office loses a patient’s file? ! Would not recommend this office to anyone even if it was an absolute emergency.
Been going here for the past eight years and have been guitar happy until this past year. We had multiple appointments canceled by Dr but office didn’t take the time to notify us. Lost PTO and money as a result. Apparently our time has no value to them. Finally got another appointment for annual physical. Asked the appt person to make sure lab order was requested. To weeks later I went to lab and learned no lab was ordered. Totally incompetent people who clearly do not care about their patience. I’m done with MCMG Pickerington.
I have been a patient here for years. I used to see Dr. Kwong. She was great. After she left, I started seeing Dr. Quigley. I rarely saw her. I was fine with seeing PAs, NPs, CNAs, etc. Over time, the bed side manner greatly declined. This year really took the cake when Melissa Pelc, NP, ordered blood work for me and I went as requested. I was informed of my blood test results. I was told to start taking Lipitor. I informed the office my old insurance was about to expire since it was an old employer.
I was never informed what to do, how to remedy the situation. I called the office numerous times and left messages and never received a call back. I was told when I called back that it was someone else's job to check messages. I did not call to ask whose job it was or for everyone's job duties. I simply wanted an answer why I was being put on Lipitor. Finally, Melissa Pelc called and I told her I was not going on Lipitor since it was never explained to me why. I did tell her I was taking fish oil and she said it was fine. I am done with Mt Carmel Medical Group. Lack of service or caring.
Have been Dr. Reiner's patient for 18 months and very happy with the service of the clinic and his medical support during my appointments. They answer phone quickly, get me in the office for appointments with lots of availability, and I've never waited more than 10min in the clinic to be seen. Dr. Reiner takes his time and explains things thoroughly. I've seen other providers for last minute support including a telecall and they were all kind as well. It's convenient they have a walk-in blood draw lab next door and I also recommend the attached Pickerington Pharmacy although that pharmacy no longer takes Tricare patients. I highly recommend Dr. Reiner and this clinic.
My son was just refused medical
treatment at Mount Carmel Pickerington
because we didn't want every vaccine on
their schedule. They wouldn't even perform his checkup. At no point were we told we wouldn't be served for
this appointment at our previous
appointments, nor that only receiving the
vaccines we wanted was an issue. We were asked to leave and led out the side door….
Before asking us to leave, the doctor told us they called this morning to
discuss expectations. No calls/voicemails were received. He's
11wks old.
