Mr. Gene's Dog House, Cincinnati OH

I love Mr Genes. I wish they didn't close for the winter but I'll be waiting for them in the spring.

First time at this place and wasn't impressed at all the chili cheese fries were not good the fries were not done and I also ordered chicken wings didn't get my BBQ sauce on them and misleading when you say chicken wings I think of whole wings these were party wings and I wouldn't pay $6 for 5 party wings.

Nice place. But it's name says it all dog house. It was pretty much just hot dogs. Said they served wings but wasn't rite now so.but food was fresh and service was good

Used to be a good place to grab a cheese coney and shake. Have visited it lately and am disappointed. The coney's are "ok" and after waiting in the drive-thru for approx. 20 mins for my son to get a malt, I can honestly say that will be the last $3.50 spent here. The malt tasted like a shake and was certainly not worth the price.

First time I ever stopped and glad I did they have some wonderful food and the ladies are very nice and restaurant was super clean these ladies are fantastic I will always go back to get a cheese coney

The Best ice cream and hot dogs in Cincinnati! I been going every season for 45 yrs! My parents took me and now I take my kids! No summer is complete without Mr Gene's!

Customer service was horrible the wait was to long. They own the car wash next door that is now closed and wouldn't refund my money as well. I guess it all about the money not serving the community to well. Shame on you. Mr jean was an honest guy.

Ive never eaten here it is over priced in my opinion but my mom loves the ice cream for 2 weeks now no lid then was told a cup would be an extra 75cents that is a joke who is really in charge here that 3.50 ice cream cpuld turn into 4.25 major fail totally

This was my first visit to Mr gene's. The staff was great as was the food. I had a cheese mett and Italian sausage with peppers. Both were absolutely delicious. Im ready to go back and try something else. Recommend giving them a try for sure.

Horrible metts the size of hot dogs and 4.25 a piece i spent 20.50 on 4 metts and a small shake and the chili was horrible i used to love this place i grewup on it they need to be shutdown now!

Mr. Gene's is a hidden gem they have the best hot mett chili cheese conies anywhere, go see for yourself, you'll be glad you did. ENJOY

Around for ages, if you like coneys then try their hot mett coney. While you're indulging yourself have a rasberry or nectar shake with house battered onion rings.

The Lady cashier was a TOTAL PIECE OF WORK! I come here at least twice a month (from Indy) this place has always been decent BUT NOT TODAY

They change the size of the Mets they up the price and a hot mess ain't really hot anymore I grew up off this place and it really has changed that's why I'm kind of disappointed

Best dogs in town. Miss the stories mr gene would tell about deer hunting and the occasional BBQ shredded deer meat.miss ya buddy.

Great place wish they sold something other than pork though i live very close and would love to make that my regular lunch spot

An absolute Cincinnati institution, if you want an amazing hot dog with excellent customer service this is the place. My kids love coming!
