Mr. Hero, Canton OH

I live in Florida, where there are no Mr Hero's, so whenever I visit family in Ohio, I make sure I get my Roman burger fix as many times as I can! I particularly like this location that I used to frequent when I lived in Canton in the late 1970's.

Man, it's one of those places. It was awesome back in the day, but now it's not even close. It was "alright" when it was fresh, but once it starts to cool down, it gets different. For those of you who have an appetite, I'll leave it at that. Do yourself a favor and check out Falcone's in Perry for a really good sandwich. (Plus they have alcohol!)

Great food every time! Love the Romanburger & Hot Buttered Cheese Steak! Staff is always friendly and the place is always clean!

The food is always great quality and fresh. The owner are very good ppl. There are a little steep in price but your paying for the quality.

Really great sandwiches! They customize them to put whatever you want on it, which is super awesome. The guy who took our order was a great enthusiastic guy who was very helpful (it was our first time there.) I love that guy's energy for real. Only thing I didn't like was that the sandwiches were a bit thin. But they were still very good!

I stopped going to MR Hero for a while because the quality had went down so much. Stopped in this one. The new ownership is amazing. Very friendly and fast. Food was fantastic and very clean inside. Hats off to the new owners!

My fiance loves there sweet potato fries and icing dip.and there buttery cheesesteak sandwich is amazing! Always good food and great selectipns

I can remember getting Mr Hero as a kid growing up in Canton back in the 80s. Moved away in 88 and haven’t had one since. My sisters (who also left Canton years ago) and I were in town this weekend and had to get a couple hot buttered cheesesteaks. They were just as we remembered them! So good, buttery, cheesy! Wish I would’ve gotten one to take on the plane with me!

I've been going to this location for over 20 years because they always had the best quality but last two times ordering our Roman burgers had overload of season oil which made the sandwiches so greasy very disappointed

I asked for knife and fork for my sandwich since I don't have teeth. They graciously cut my sub into smaller pieces to make it a lot easier on me. They went above and beyond. New to Mr Hero. They definitely have a new customer!

Great "hole in the wall" establishment. I say this with love. I absolutely love places like this, especially when the owner is behind the register with a smile and great enthusiasm. But what care he put into the place! Very professional and customer service oriented. I felt welcome and eager to pay him for the food I ordered. I found out that he installed EVERYTHING. He went into detail about the costs of doing it himself vs.hiring contractors.all this while not even missing a beat taking orders, working his register, and serving the prepared food! The energy behind this guy seemed almost superhuman to me. The Roman burger did not disappoint either. It is the first time I ever had a hamburger prepared in a subway sandwich.

Mr. Hero is the best. Roman Burgers and Hot Buttered Steak what more could you want. The service is always so great and friendly. The wait time from entering the store to food in hand was maybe 4 minutes. The food was hot, fresh and delicious.

It's a nice clean place and they have great tasting sandwiches. When you get tired of the choices at the major nationwide chains offer this place is a refreshing change from the usual. I've eaten here several times over the years and the food has always been fast, fresh and delicious. Customize your sandwich however you want it and it'll be ready quickly. Try the waffle fries and cheese sauce!

Always fresh and delicious. The chicken Philly is where it's at with the waffle fries and a side of funnel cake fries. My family's favorite take home dinner.
