Mr. Wok Restaurant, Gahanna OH

Food is fresh and some of the best tasting Asian food in Columbus. Prices are reasonable, and service is fast. Have been getting dinner from here for over 15 years and it does nothing but get even better. This is not a romantic dining venue, it is a fantastic take out.

I enjoy the food so I keep coming back. Every time I’ve ordered it’s an hour later than they say. I can understand getting busy and behind but an hour? Every time? Not a lot of explanations either. Just “very busy. It’ll be 20 more mins”

Righ now sitting here for 45mins watching doordash and Uber eats people running in and out with food. I’m guessing there’s a new way to get good reviews.

Food is a hit or miss. They have weird names for a lot of things on their menu. Their crab rangoons are always good. But their Veggie Chow Mein has no chow mein in it.

Apparently Mr. Wok standards is Lo Mein has noodles and Chow Mein does not. My advice, unless you have seen that specific meal from this specific location, be careful what you order.

Best Chinese in the area, for sure. Free soup/drink with orders over $20. We’ve tried several items off the menu and have loved everything! The lo-mein is great!

Good food. Good service. Convenient location. Prices even better. $6 for most lunches. Includes soup and tea.

Service was good plenty of seating for dine in. Rice and Gen Tso chicken was pretty standard but the soup. The hot and sour soup was a real disappointment I’ll keep searching to find my go to spot in the area.

Decent food, huge portions, typical Chinese food joint. Really nice people working the pick up counter.

We called ahead to order Sunday holiday brunch for a dozen people. They told us to call night before and they came in early to prep and had ready a half hour after they opened. Most other Chinese restaurants didnt even open until 4p, so they have good hours, accommodate large orders, got the order exactly right, and the food was all great!

Do lunch there every chance I get. Sweet young lady that works behind the counter. Awesome prices good food

My wife's family has been going to Mr. Wok for YEARS with nothing but good comments, and they've converted me into the fold where this is THE Asian restaurant for us. Just like Kleenex has become the generic for facial tissues and in the south Coke is the only pop, now Mr. Wok is the main thing associated with takeout. 6 stars if I could.

Simple, straightforward, and yet solid. May be surprising, but this is one of the best Chinese restaurants in Columbus, takeout or sit down.

I really liked the rice. The pepper steak had good flavor. The chicken as well but they use WAYYYYYYY TOO MANY vegetables. The order is 80% veggies and 20% meat. That's why i'm giving it 2 stars.

I have been coming here since it was Mr. Wok. I do miss him yelling at his employees. The general tsos is outstanding as well as the hot and sour soup. Prices are very good as well.

Have been coming here for years. The best Chinese takeout in Gahanna and maybe Columbus. People are friendly. Food is consistently good. My family and friends have tried a lot of things on the menu. Here are some of our favorites: Sesame Chicken, Beef and Mushroom, Crab Rangoon, Dumplings, Fried Rice, Chicken Lo mien, Shrimp Lo mien, Happy Family, Beef and Broccoli.really we’ve never been disappointed in anything. Great lunch specials at 4.45 to 5.00 w large portions. Even the evening menu is priced right. Don’t eat at the restaurant. Not a comfortable or inviting space by any stretch. - but don’t let that deter you! Take out only and you will be pleased! Highly recommend.

My family has tried every Chinese place in Gahanna looking for a decent place. This one is our favorite so far. We've had it 4 times at different times and each time it's consistent. It's not the best Chinese but it's better than every place I've had. I do love their dumplings and crab ragoon. They are very nice and give you a free pop if you order over 20.

Standard Chinese place. Service quick and friendly, inexpensive with large portions. Only disappointment for me was the chicken in my Kung Bo Chicken was fried. I was expecting stirfried.

Staff was nice however the food was a poor quality the chicken is skeptical and the kung bo chicken was fried no wonder it was so cheap.

This is gross. Really gross. No flavor. Now I'm sad with a stomach ache. Save your money, save your time, save your appetite. Cook for yourself.

Found this place online, looked over their menu decided to take a journey to Gahanna, only to find out that they are "not familiar" with the menu on the website, extremely disappointed
