Great place to meet up with friends. It's right around the corner from my weekly Wednesday night Poker game.

Great place with lots of room! Great atmosphere and the bartenders were attentive and cool people to talk to!

Local haunt, for hipsters and fixtures. Has a cigarette machine, free hot dogs, pool, darts. The perfect dive.
Nirvana played there once.
I think it's the oldest bar, ever?

I love Murphy's! I went to UC, Murphy's is a great local watering hole where students and locals can just hang and have a relaxing good time!

The bouncer is ridiculous.
He didn’t accept my German ID as proof of age.
He wanted to tell me that it’s a law that he can’t accept foreign IDs even though I have been using the ID for 2 years at every other place.

I love this place always quality food & service. The service was very welcoming and sociable. They have so many reviews for a reason.

Was not happy with the 20 percent gratuity especially after the bartender told my nephew after he had occurred over 50.00 on his tab. I lived and grown up in Clifton on Wheeler street and was very disappointed. The bartender should have told him that before hand. The drinks were Seagram's 7 and 7 which to me seemed weak. The only reason I gave it a 2 star is that the men's restroom was clean. I now live in Hamilton and will probably never go back to the place ever again.

Very dirty, poor selection of beers, and the curly haired bouncer was incredibly rude to my stepdaughter upon entry (we’re from out of state, so he was attempting to prove her identification was fake, not allowing her in even though she is of age). They had her wait outside alone while it was late at night, totally disregarding her safety. The one positive that I have is that they were very affordable and had free hotdogs. However, she is definitely not coming back anytime soon.

Great bar and atmosphere, it is a little small up front, and even with the space in the back, the bar still feels cramped. But GREAT bar and would go again any time

Cool place. Darts, billiards and outdoor area for smoking. Watch out for the owner Tom on the dart boards!

Affordable drinks, many dart boards (7?), Pool table, off street parking and great service!

Murphy's is a fun place, and I love the free hot dogs. But they could really use a good cleaning of their draft lines, and maybe a few more beers on draft or in cans.

Great local dive bar. Cheap drinks. Great staff. Always a great place to hang out. I've been going to Murphy's Pub for a long time now, and it looks the same that did 20 years ago. Longevity is something that a dive bar earns. Free parking next door. Always a welcome feeling going back to Murphy's for some drinks.

I celebrated my PhD last night in this fine place. I am glad to say that we had a fantastic evening and the venue was surely one of the reasons for this strong evening. The stuff cooperated in a graceful way, the meals were yummy and my guests were very pleased. We shall absolutely visit again for more joyful events. Thank you very much.

Great place for the young adults. I don't like that they hold your credit card hostage until you're ready to cash out. (They should be able to save the CC info in their POS and close the tab at any moment.)
