Nationwide Children's Hospital Downtown Urgent Care, Columbus OH

It was very fast during a week day! And the nurses, doctors & staff were so nice there! I love this urgent care!

My daughter was seen there, but no diagnosis was made they only prescribed medicine to keep her from throwing up. Now she had 5 surgeries on her gastric that could of been avoided if diagnosis was made sooner. They did not do an ultra sound or an xray to see what was wrong.

This place is HORRIBLE. Please don’t send your children to this urgent care. The doctors rush you and are not thoroughly looking into the health concern. It is extremely packed in this facility. If you plan on coming here I suggest to come 2-3 hours before the time you had in mind. I came here around 3pm and didn’t leave until after 9pm for only a 15 minute rushed visit! The doctor didn’t even solve the issue (s), it was more of an “take an over the counter Tylenol medication and go home” situation. The actual hospital (Not Urgent Care) is wonderful in my experience but the UC? No, no thank you you can forget it. I refuse to have my child at a facility that doesn’t really care. The staff are rude, they let smokers in the waiting area and allow so much mishap to happen. Teens stroll in with loud music bumping, parents are letting their kids literally hang off the wall wild. It’s literally an animal farm in there!

This not so urgent care is extremely slow. We’ve been here for over 4 hours. The doctor diagnosed our son and left to get paperwork and prescription so we could leave - 2 hours later they came in with the paperwork for our prescription. Lots of laughing and joking around in the hallway, very unprofessional. Won’t be back

Do NOT come here if there is actually something Urgently wrong. The wait time is horrendous. Plan on spending at least 3 hours here. It would be faster to drive to any other Urgent Care in the Columbus area than come to this one.

Worst place ever! Checked in at 9: 20 got vitals at 10: 10 and didnt get to leave until midnight said nothing was wrong took her to another place and she has a horrible ear infection will never take my children there again all the staff were just sitting and laughing having a great time while im waiting for a simple ear exam never again!

I would have give 4 stars previously but my recent experience was just awful. I waited over an hour in the room with a screaming baby. I took my 16 month old on his pediatricians advice as he hadn’t had a wet diaper in 24 hours. They didn’t do anything. Didn’t test him for anything. Tried to look in his throat and when he wouldn’t open said they though maybe it was something but again DIDN'T TEST FOR ANYTHING! I understand he wasn’t cooperating but still! So now I have a $400 bill for them to just suggest what I always had suggested to them. The staff was perfectly nice but it’s as though they were understaffed and didn’t want to deal with a crying baby.

Seriously, don’t waste your time at this urgent care. Receptionist team was beyond horrible, forgetting to finish checking you in, as you have to go to 3 for the process. Complete NO sense of urgency, it’s like they don’t even want to work there or put ANY effort in. It’s like they almost hated their job and they took it out on you and did not care at all how they represented the hospital. Looked like just rolled out of bed. They could see my child had swollen possible broken bones and didn’t even show sympathy or offer any ice. I had to go ask for it after awhile, and she said, ‘ow yhea, we have some’, and just turned her seat around and it was right there.so it took no effort so there’s NO excuse. I did not think front receptionist are even nurses.maybe hourly workers, therefore that’s why they are that way? Also, everything was completely dirty, and it just felt unhealthy once you entered. So sad for such a great hospital to have a portion of their business being run and looking like a free community clinic.

I always love coming here. They do a great job with our 3 kids. The doctors are always so thorough and the nurses are always on there game and so nice to the kids. They always get us right in. I won't go anywhere else. The staff is always so nice to the kids and parents.

A very poor service, the nurses and Dr.s just trying to practice on patient. My child has an ear infection and was needed energancy treatment but after the doctor visit, they said we will give his antibiotics, we were waiting for two hours but no one has seen to bring the antibiotics, than I asked for help and about the update, she said give me a minute I will come back but I have never seen her again. Than I asked from second one and she said that I don't know when will your antibiotics ready and she also left. Totally unsatisfied.

The worst part is waiting, we bring our unwell babies and they take forever to treat and medicate and do paper works. In one room we stay for almost 3hours. Staff here are good, friendly, polite but when you have to wait everything is worst.worst time management worst

The wait time is horrible considering it is an urgent care.

I checked in my 6 month old at 9: 09 PM. They took us for vitals at 10: 20 PM. Then we were in exam room until 10: 50 PM.

Wait time of 2 hours before seeing the doctor is a long time for emergency diagnosis.

The wait was a little long both in the waiting room and in the exam room, which was definitely not pleasant when your toddler needs help late at night. Other than that, no complaints. Staff were courteous if not professional, I was listened to, and the gate was open so no charge for parking at the Urgent Care lot. 10/10 would go there again.

The people were very friendly and positive. The doctor was respectful and easy to talk to. I just wish there had been more of a sense of urgency — I mean, it IS urgent care, after all. The place was PACKED. We got there a little after 1 p.m. And didn’t leave until 5 p.m. I know you should expect to wait a little bit at these kinds of clinics, but four hours? That seems excessive. The care my child received would in many cases bring me back, but I’ll think twice before coming here again.

I love it, been here a few times with my children and the nurses were super nice, it's a clean environment, and they move pretty quickly not really a long waiting period.

I Absolutely adore the staff at this hospital they are always kind, and really show that they care. Great place for children

Its a good hospital but sad you gotta pay to park to go to the hospital. No other hospital does that. And if you do u get a parking pass

The men at the desk was very rude. They took a long time. The place is nasty and dirty. The room was not clean. It stink in the waiting room and the seats were dirty. I will never go there again.
