We have been happy with the staff, nurses, and doctors here. I only gave it 4 stars because sometimes we have had to wait over an hour to 1.5 hours past our scheduled time to be seen. I do appreciate places can get behind and if there is an unusual/important situation that needs to be addressed then I certainly want them to do that however it has happened more often than not before COVID life. If we cannot be more than a 15 or 20 minutes late without having to be penalized then I think in all fairness the same consideration for our schedules and time spent should be addressed by the facility. Since COVID once we returned to the office they are not running that kind of behind. Televisits in the past year have been on time and we felt like items were addressed. We like Dr Dedyo very much. She has been wonderful to work with and discuss items regarding our child. She has been very open and communicative in the appointments.

This place does things during your kids wellness check, that are not a part of the wellness check, even though they lead on like it is. Things will cost you extra but they don't tell you. They charged our insurance 500$ for a wellness check. We owed 100$ for a "development test". We didn't even know she was doing a test, and that answering the doctors questions would be an additionalbill on top of our visit. We thought they were just some normal questions the doctor asked us as a part of a wellness check/standard doctor visit for toddlers. They told us in a previous visit they were going to do a fluoride treatment, which was never once mentioned to us, and of course would cost extra, so we said no to the last minute plan. If you dont ask questions you will be getting lots of surprise bills from this place.

The actual facetime with the doctor is maybe 10 minutes but every time we go there the appointment takes 2 hours. Most of the time there you are waiting to be seen, then waiting for them to come back in to finish your appointment. After all the shady lack of communication and consistent long visits that we have to take off work for, we will be looking for a new place.

Although the doctors I’ve had have been great, it doesn’t make up for the wait time. My apt was at 10, and it’s now 10: 35 and no doctors has come in to the room. Nobody has even apologized for the delay.

The doctors and care is good but the wait time is absolutely the worst. Have been having two and. Half hour appointments every time Ive come in.:/

Generally good staff but one of the nurses started doing a Chinese accent expecting me and my family to laugh. Found it very inappropriate mocking people of Asian decent. Did not want my child to be exposed to that type of ignorance. (Yes I am Asian and no we are not all Chinese)

Worst experience I have had. I have been calling for the past 4 weeks to get a doc to authorize home health aid service for my special need son (which is done everywhere by the primary care doc). Nurses tell me that their docs do not do that and that I should contact behavioral health. I call behavioral health where they tell me they do not do it and tell me to contact primary care doctor. I am getting the run around. Worst of all when I call Patient relations, the lady tells me that I am not making sense. She was not helpful. Very disappointed with Nationwide Children's hospital. Have not been able to get many services for the past year and a half.

I think one is more than they deserve. I have been waiting for an hour and half to see the doctor. Nurses have cold and they cough in my baby face
