Navarre Park reviews
18Trail and grass area always so muddy. But rarely are there any people there the same time as I am with my puupy
East Toledo Senior Center had their Ice Cream Social today, they are connected to Navarre Park, very hot day, sure enjoyed your big beautiful shade trees, everything was beautiful, well maintained, and very clean.
A nicer pool manager and more pool hours like close at 6 and not 5: 30 like it says on line it says it saposable closes at 6
Great sledding hill. Decent pool. Nice park and good half mile path loop. Could use a disc golf course or something to spice it up bit but great Park
We love going here! And it's great how many trails they have. Always a wonderful time, you really feel some where else inside this great park:)
They have multiple parking lots thru out the park when you drive in. And each parking lot has its own trails to start out on.
It's ok if your going for a walk or playing soccer. The picnic area, baseball diamonds, and playground area are poorly cared for. The pool IF it's open is usually crowded with lots of rude kids. City doesn't like to open the pool, they claim money issues. Could be an awesome place if more people cared. The motor bikes, ATV, 4 wheelers, and dirt bikes have torn up the nice wildlife areas. The city put a fence up on the sledding hill and the other locations are to close to the road. There's nice Shelterhouse at this location but it's always in use with the East Toledo Family Center or Senior Citizen programming. Lots of wildlife and good spot to go for some tranquil get away. Not kept up and needs lots of attention. Picnic area the tables are usually best up and you could get splinters. The garbage cans are usually overflowing and the port-a-potty is usually a mess, but it's open. I can't say enough about how "well cared for" this historical park is. While you are there make sure you go and read the plaques on the memorial stone at the corner of White & Navarre. There was a log cabin which Peter Navarre lived in. It's now located at the Wolcott House on River Road.
Great park to walk your self or your pet. Has soccer fields and plenty of room for other activities. Two Thumbs WAY Up!
The only reason I was there was because my truck broke down parking lot was empty That's why I give it two stars
Pretty nice, has a nice park and walking trail. The only down side is that it's next to a refinery
The parking lot became filled with teenagers and young adults. They were just hanging out in the parking lot and as more people arrived, I no longer felt safe having my kids there so we left.
Could use some more play things. Something a single overweight parent can join their young child in. Especially with the pandemic, because children, unfortunately can't play together.
A truly great place for the family to get out and exercise has all kinds of stuff to do would definitely plan a picnic or family outing here
I live not too far from this park and it's a shame the city neglects this park when there's so much historical significance to it.
The upkeep is somewhat alright but it just seems like the place is run over by homeless people, junkies and teenagers who are trying to be cool. The track itself has a nice view and occasionally the flowers and birds make you forget you live in a horrible city.
My kids were attacked by a group of kids with no home training. My daughter was slapped and my son was punched in the head and someone hit me in the head with a Gatorade bottle…kids shouldn't be allowed there without parents. I'll NEVER bring my family back to the pool. Ever!
Only two parking spaces have actual shade. The whole park is full sun. Great if you're alone using the track, but, bring hydration for the kids, it's full sun.
It's ok it's got a pool a nice track to walk or run field for soccer or what. Horseshoe pits, I think you have to bring the stakes and shoes, it's next to the tennis courts.
