Make sure your paper work is correct. They don’t reply back to email or phone calls, Brenda who filled out the paperwork for LOA/FMLA did not fill out the papers correctly and didn’t put the correct information so I got deny of my LOA. Worse place.

I drove and hour and a half to an appointment on a Thursday. I didnt get payed until the next day (friday) and told them to please set up a payment to change my card tomorrow for the co pay. She said they couldn't do that and that they would have to reschedule me. I'm sorry but I pay a ton for insurance and if you are willing to reschedule me and make me do another 3 hour round trip over a co pay then that is some of the worst customer care I have ever seen.

I had been a patient with Neurocare for about 20 years with Dr. Jay Berke until his retirement where I was transferred to Ryan Drake (DO not MD). I never cared for any of my limited visits with him. On my last visit with him I never received any lab work prescriptions (e.g. Hepatic function panel, medicinal level, etc.). This was the first time ever (given the drugs I used to control my condition can be damaging to my liver). I called well before my appointment to politely inquire why and got treated poorly during the conversation shortly afterward they did provide me with an incomplete lab prescription. Here is where the fun starts. I arrived a few minutes late to my appointment due to closed lanes on rt 77 south bound. I was told to have a seat and they would check to see if I could be seen. 25 minutes later they came out and told me that that I could not be seen and of course charged me a no show fee!

I have a rare neuromuscular disorder that causes a slew of neurological symptoms from muscle wasting, migraines, sleep apnea and executive function "stuff" (sorry, I lost the word. That also happens.) along with many other problems.
My first visit was with Dr. Earl, who had taken the time to research my disorder so he knew what he was dealing with. He was kind and attentive. He prescribed medication and set up a sleep study, then talked about possibilities for my ongoing treatment plan. I was over the moon.
The next appointment, two months later, I had to see Brittany, who is a CNP. The whole visit, she never made eye contact with me. She was cold, rude, and not knowledgeable enough to do more than renew my medication refills, order a sleep study and fitting for a CPAP, and send me on my way, even though I was having more severe symptoms.
For the next six months I saw this woman, communicated that I did not tolerate the CPAP that she prescribed. She told me to go to a dentist and get a device to hold my tongue down during sleep. I think. Not remembering well what it was actually supposed to do. She told me to continue to use the CPAP once I had that device. She didn't notate my chart except my vitals and then told me to lose weight, which is entirely non-helpful considering my muscle loss - if I lose weight, it means I've lost more muscle.
I am in no way fat-phobic as I've been on the heavy side and have frequently crossed into the realm of obesity since childhood. But I had a hard time taking this woman seriously as she is very close to 3 times my size.
It was only when I saw Dr. Earl again this week that my treatment plan could progress. I know I will have to see Brittany again next visit and I will be bringing someone else with me as an advocate.

TL: DR - Dr. Earl = amazing physician, two thumbs way up.
Brittany = Rude, bad advice, doesn't listen to the patient.

I was sent to Neurocenter from the VA through Community Care since I live in Canton and Cleveland is 54 miles away. I had the pleasure of working with Dr. Damien Earl. He went through my chart. He treated me like a person, not a number or rush things. I corrected or explained anything that was inaccurate. Within 10 minutes he told me he saw the involuntary head and neck movements and I didn't have parkinsons or anything else. I had EPS induced by Seroquel, but his 1st hunch was Tardative Dyskinesia, but it was atypical and he was correct. He just used EPS as a broader title for my involuntary head and neck movements and my neck being locked in a downward fashion. His was the 1st physical exam in over 3 1/2 months. Two providers never did at the VA. He listened, and took my symptoms seriously, and wanted to help me from the start. He was kind and patience. He never put off any superiority vibes, and was down to earth. He and his staff fought with me to get me the right med, though the VA treated him awful like he was an outsider since he was non-VA. Eventually, he even gave me a 30 day free titration pack of Austedo, which 9 days later I saw my VA psychiatrist who agreed the med was working. The Austedo med pack also helped me to identify symptoms such as my entire body muscles were tight, and my handwriting was sloppy when everyone concentrated on only the more pronounced head and neck involuntary movements caused by the med Seroquel. Symptoms I didn't even know were symptoms. Though it went through a few diagnoses changes, his initial thought that I had Tardative Dyskinesia and not just tardive or cervical dystonia, and the way Austedo worked so well confirmed the TD diagnosis. The VA pharmacy had three conditions, and he helped me to get that information to them. I also kept in contact through their website, and he always responded. Both him and Amy helped me battle the VA using up clinical time, phone time, pharmacy problems and never complained, since their only goal was to help me. I learned today, after a failed attempt for Tetrabenazine in August, that the Austedo 12mg XR was finally approved on 10/18/23 through the VA. I would say I have 85-90% improvement since being on the med. Sure, I continued to advocate for my own health, everyone should, but they didn't have to go to the lengths they did to help me. The VA surely didn't, and I have suffered the symptoms over a year. I'm not sure why some people have left negative comments, I suppose each person experience is unique, and entitled to their own thoughts and feelings. But I can tell you they are caring and compassionate, and will go the extra mile to help their patients. They cant perform miracles, but will help in anyway possible, but sometimes unrealistic expectations might caused a parient to be upset with their treatment or interactions with the staff. I totally get it. No one wants to be sick, or suffer side effects. I would 100% recommend Neurocenter for your health treatment. And if by some odd chance you are dissatisfied with a secretary, med asset or even the dr.that can sometimes happen, we are all human, Just explain your concerns, ask for another dr or med tech, and I am confident they will work with you to provide the best experience possible. I couldn't have gotten the Austedo approved without their help. And I am grateful living a better life without the embarrassing head movements that literally drove me insane, The symptoms were ruined my self confidence, and the relaxed mucles and being able to have fine motor skills like signing my name again, and no jerky fingers while typing is a blessing in itself. The symptoms were so pronounced people would stare, and made me want to hide away from anything social, but that's not the case anymore. It's not 100% no med will do that, but it is a huge relief, and I feel I can live a normal life, though Tardative Dyskinesia is permanent but manageable with Austedo, all thanks to Dr. Earl and Amy's hard work and excellent patient care I received.

At first I would of given this place 5 stars but then I realized Dr. Damien actually never really answered my questions about MS. He just kept repeating over and over what MS is which wasn't helpful. He didn't prepare me that 3 years later I'd be in a wheelchair or my pain or anything like that. At the end my experience was outright awful. It becomes impossible to get a call back and I was at the point of calling every day. My insurance agent even called them for a month and never got a hold of anyone or a call back. They tried to say I had a bill to pay that was sent to collections but when I called collections they told me I had nothing. So I called Nuerocare's billing and they said they have no idea what I'm talking about once I told them I called collections. The letters suddenly stopped from Nuerocare telling me I had a bill. This doctors office is completely mismanaged and a wreck of a experience. I had my name changed too but the receptionists refused to change it in the system and my insurance kept clashing.

After seeing negative reviews about this facility I was skeptical about taking my husband here, but because Dr. Zollinger came so highly recommended we decided
to give them a try. I just want to say that it was a very pleasant visit. I had no trouble getting through to make the appointment. The office personnel were very nice. Amy the girl who roomed us was exceptional. Dr. Zollinger was very caring and listened to all the our concerns. I would highly recommend this facility.

Always be 30 mins early to any appointment. Even if you are within the grace period the front office girls ignore you and sit there gossiping rather than check the sign-in sheet, then refuse to see you even though there's no other patients in the waiting room. Sat there 20mins all to be told that I have to reschedule. Had the front office staff checked the sheet and actually done their job instead of sitting there talking about their personal lives, I could have been seen. They didn't even check me in until 30 mins after my appointment.

Dr. Ryan Drake is a really good doctor, he takes time. He listens, and he is thorough in his work. His bedside manner is superb, and when he gives you instructions and explains things he’s very clear and doesn’t talk in medical terms so you understand what he’s saying. I couldn’t have picked a better neurologist. I have been 2 years seizure free. & I have had nothing but positive experiences with him. Also his PA Taylor is just as good, when I can’t be seen by him she gets the job done as well.

This is hands down the worst practice I have ever been to. I saw doctor zollinger for the first visit and he seemed fine, but that was the absolute last I saw of him. After the initial visit I had the great honor of seeing Brittany McClain. Upon seeing her she said yeah we ran some tests on you and there isn't anything else we can do, here is some gabapentin. If I asked any questions I was greeted with yes or no, or sorry we can't do anything else. Never have I had a medical professional act like such a lobotomy victim while I'm just trying to seek help. No one at this facility showed even the slightest interest in helping me. I went for a total of 4 visits not including a nerve conduction test I received there and after my 4th visit they showed no interest in helping me. I asked to switch over medications because I was having bad side effects and they took a week to get back to me and then said I would need to schedule an appointment to switch medication. They are only interested in billing you for as much as they can. I tried to cancel my last appointment I had scheduled because they were less than useless, but when I tried to cancel using their text confirmation or cancel service it said that it there was a problem. Fast forward to today, I get a 50$ bill for no showing. DO NOT GO HERE you are better off laying in front of their driveway and letting someone run you over, at least then you won't have to pay for it. I will be cold in a grave before they get another penny out of me

The only reason I’m leaving 1 star is just to leave a review. Dr. Stalker is a straight up D bag. Not one ounce of nice in that man’s body!

We are going through declining mental issues for a family member.
We have been nothing but disappointed with the quality of service from this facility.
The bedside manner of the physician is less than amazing and the quality of the staff that answers the phone is incredibly dismissive, especially when considering the trauma of dealing with a family member with declining mental health.
Would not recommend at all

I absolutely would NOT recommend this practice. I literally followed a doctor out of consulting room to ask additional questions when he apparently thought my time was up. I had a virtual visit after and he could not have been less interested in my concerns. I then called to try to see a different doctor in the practice and left multiple voicemail messages. None of my calls were returned. I do have this all documented. I have moved on the university hospital system.

The was cocky and rude, had no bed side manner. They don't help you here like they should, they just ship you off to a different doctor. Almost like they don't even want to be bothered.

My Dr faxed a referral to them for me. I waited 3 days before calling for an appointment, I got voicemail, I've called 3 times this week and got voicemail and no return calls. I guess I'll get a referral for somewhere else. This is no way to conduct business.

Is there a actual good excuse your business has for not returning calls? You do tell us to leave a voicemail yes? So do your jobs like you were hired to do. People are suffering and it seems like you don't care or just don't want to work which seems the most likely reason. Your business is definitely not struggling, this is just pure laziness and lack of care. Lawsuit for neglect is needed to get you to do your jobs in my opinion

I can't really rate the doctor yet because my wife has only had two vists so far. However we had an insurance problem and Farah was a big help getting it approved. I can't say enough about how she handled herself with them, and the extra time on the phone with us to get it approved. You can't have good doctors if you don't have a good staff. I'm very impressed with the 1st step. Thank you Farah.

I have never met a group of office staff, medical staff, and doctors be any more rude, dismissive and unprofessional. I wouldn't send any I know there for any reason. Continually have phone issues, scheduling issues, insurance issues, and most of all- the objective for the patient is in question! Do they want to explore you getting better or would they rather keep medicating you and billing you for office visits that are highly unproductive? I wouldn't decide for yourself. This place stinks of corruption. Do yourself a favor and travel a little further for an actual doctor's appointment.

I don't understand many of the negative reviews honestly. I have been seeing Neurocare since age 16 now i am 53. They have been nothing more than professional and have treated me 100% accurately for my seizure disorder over the years.
