Great place to live offers a. Lot of amenities. There was issues with past management and management. However the owners listened to their tenants and now have a great crew in there. All of the updating they are doing to the property and units. Are looking great. Quite friendly atmosphere.

My car was severely vandalized while asleep. Very little light, and no cameras the the person/s were never caught. I moved very shortly due to this, told the office what had happened I have a fricken police report. They still put it on my credit. I lived there for years and this is still on my credit coming up 6 years. I am not nor anyone should have to live somewhere where their property is at risk or in my case windows busted out of my car, tires shredded, keyed all the way around. Anyone who reads this please beware. It doesn't matter if something happens to you or your vehicle, whatever is left on the lease for remainder of that year they will still put it on your credit. I would say STAY AWAY. Same management company. So they were still calling themselves "The New Candlelight Apartments" 10 years ago. Edit: I don't care if they finally changed their name. It's still the same hole it always was. Renters Beware!

I lived at north creek preserve for approximately 6 months until I was relocated for work.

In my 6mo, I met some of the most kind-hearted, hard working and welcoming people I’ve ever encountered.

I felt very safe at NCP at all times, it was quiet, and it had its own sense of community. Everyone respected each others privacy.

The new management team kept the landscaping up to date as well!

Although I wish the garbage trucks could’ve came more often… North Creek preserve I was happy to call home for the amount of time I was in Warren, and recommend for anyone looking for a nice 1-2br Apt for a reasonable price.

Love North Creek Preserve! Renovations are beautiful, landscaping looks great with all the changes, the new grill and seating area is perfect for summer. We finally got the pool open and that was fabulous! New owners also installed a brand new playground area for the kids. All in all great area and amenities!

I have lived here twice in my life, the first time being in the two bedroom apartments and the second (and current time) in the town houses. Both times I have little to complain about and a lot to be happy about. The price is easily a great deal when you realize how central the place is. Dentists, doctors, barbers and a variety of food options are really close. You could walk to the East Wood mall in under 30 minutes if you had to (do not recommend it since there are no side walks along North Rd.). The front office has been easy to work with and I've never had to wait a long time to hear back from a maintenance call. Granted, I'm a handyman and small fixes are something I do personally without thinking it's nice to have the option there. Not a big fan of the car ports however, I've seen more than one person scrape their car along one of the poles. *edit* that review was for Candlelight not North Creek, it no longer applies. If you do move here take pictures of everything and insure your items now.

Why can't we ever get ahold of anyone? Why doesn't this place have cameras? Someone broke into my boyfriends trailer last night and stole hundreds of dollars worth of equipment. It was locked! They cut the lock! My purse was stolen a month ago out of my car! What kind of place are you guys running here? You would think charging us 1000+ for rent you would atleast have cameras!?

Stay away from here. Seriously. They claim they renovated the apartments and it seems promising at first. But I could go on for hours about the amount of issues I’ve ran into while living here for 6 months. The next 6 months cant come any faster. The only plus I can give this place is that they allow animals. The staffing at this place makes me question everything. The ladies at the front desk change on a monthly basis it seems. They’re always telling me that they’ll do this and that they’ll give me a call within 30 minutes about the problem but never do. I’m still being charged for “not having renters insurance” when I’ve shown them and given them my information multiple times about it. My AC has been broken for over 2 weeks now and I have to pester them on a day to day basis about it for them to even acknowledge the problem. For the entire time it’s been broken, it was about 80°-85° in the apartment on a daily basis. The windows being open didn’t even help it cool down a little bit. They said they’d come put a window unit in for the time being until someone can come repair the AC and it took them forever to do it. When they said they needed more time to put one in, they said “do you have fans? ” I shouldn’t have to run 4 fans all day long just to circulate hot air around the apartment. But I did and will have to pay the extra cost for doing so. My dishwasher and drain were clogged/broken for a month before someone actually sent me a message about it. The dishwasher broke after using it 3 times and it flooded the entire kitchen under the floor. It had standing water in the bottom of it for the entire time I waited for someone to come fix it. It attracted so many gnats and made the kitchen smell horrible. The pipes in the kitchen smell horrible. The garbage disposal attracts gnats all the time (I’ve never used it.) I clean it weekly and somehow it still stinks so bad in the kitchen. The kitchen has had a smell that makes me lose my appetite every time I walk in there. Emergency maintenance is a joke. They aren’t reliable at all if you need a problem fixed. There was countless issues with the place once I moved in. They want almost $2000 to break the lease and that’s how they get people to continue living here. Just stay far away. I promise you the cheap rent isn’t worth it.

DO NOT RENT HERE. This has been the worst rental experience. They are NOT BBB ACCREDITED. They have received a flying F rating and for good reason. I have a dishwasher with standing water because it does not drain. I have had broken central air since I moved in. Maintenance will come into your home as they please, without proper notification of entry and no information on resolution of the issue or what was done in the unit. Nothing is ever fixed. And they are impossible to get in contact with. So if you have issues of any kind, good luck and god speed; you signed a one year commitment to this circus. Grab your peanuts like every other tenant that lives here and prepare to throw them. I wouldn't mind if it was a few issues here and there. But this is a joke at this point. Save your money. Save your time. And go live somewhere else.

I’ve lived here for abt 3 months with austin Huff. Recently he corrected the property manager, he’s very non-confrontational normally… She came to our home saying we needed to move our grill 100ft into a “dog park” where dogs poop? So we checked our lease and it said that a grill has to be 10ft away from the property. That’s not anywhere close to the dogpark. He went to the office and told her this which caused a completely unprofessional arguement in front of children the day the pool opened. Not saying he’s a saint but She threatened him with a gun. She also called his mom names… She doesn’t even know his mom? This is just property manager issues and pretty regulars ones fr. This is what? Our 3rd property manager since we got here. My first one moved me into the wrong apartment. Respect to Jim tho he was trying and at least nice. I also really loved both our leasing agents we have had so far our current one crystal seems sweet and was very helpful. She’s the whole reason I got my mailbox fixed and my window fixed TODAY FINALLY! After three months at one point they even told me “how are we expected to keep up with all your issues” after they lost there own paper they wrote reminding them for the 3rd time my window was broken:/ Next was Aurora she fired our only good maintence person Sam for literally…. Guys…. I don’t even wanna talk abt it it’s so insane. Get it together. I had a broken window a messed up counter, My front door is trippin. They ignore you they’re disrespectful and it’s all crazy bc every resident here is cool. It’s literally the management company even the actual owners are nice. I could never understand being so bad at your job. Property managers here They love to lie and act like they know things they don’t know. They said this building is a federal building. Residents prove them wrong time and time again and there way of coping is to retaliate against us. POWER TRIPPING AT ITS FINEST HERE! We just got a pool it’s the end of July:/ a work in progress is a work in progress but fr. They can’t keep staff here they fired SAM THE ONLY GOOD WORKER…. Js tread lightly coming round here and dont let there first interactions with you seem “gentle and nice” the devil lives in that leasing office. And everyday he clings onto the property managers and they take it out on us.

AWesome place to live. The maintance lady Sam is very good at her job. MAke sure you guys keep her around.

Considering the property that I moved here from, I love this place! It is still on the come up, and they have a long way to go, but its getting there! The PM Jim was so helpful and understanding as they were switching managers and some mishaps were being exposed. Sam is always willing to help and fix things the proper way! She is the BEST maintenance I have ever had in an apartment.

Samantha the maintenance lady is doing an amazing job. She is a very nice and great person. Every issue i have had she has came and fixed. Cant wait to see how this place turns around. Keep up the good work.

My experience living in my townhouse has been smooth not because there weren't problems to fix but because the maintenance lady Sam has been very attentive. I am grateful for her referring me to come here and I know that I am in good hands because of her, she is always very knowledgeable in what she does!
