North Main Café, Mt Vernon OH

Great, great place. Wonderful owners and staff and the food is always too notch. There's not an item on the menu you can go wrong choosing. The baked oatmeal is a favorite, always served by friendly staff. Highly recommend, best breakfast in Mount Vernon.

I had a Veteran’s Day Breakfast/Luncheon, and the employees here went above and beyond to make the Day special for the Vets. I called other places, and they didn’t seem as enthusiastic. I appreciate the food and atmosphere here, but the employees really put this place over the top! Thanks again! Highly recommended to anyone in the area!

North Main Cafe has the best Veggie Wrap! White or Tomatoe Basil wrap with leafy greens, fresh tomatoes, onions, peppers, feta cheese, and dressing! Bubble Tea (Green-Tea base) with Peach flavoring and Mango Bubbles has a burst of sweet fruit refreshment! This Cafe has an amazing staff! No matter how busy, the hard-working staff moves customer orders and service with efficient pace and impeccable accuracy. Whether dining-in to enjoy the clean, French-country atmosphere or taking-out for a bite at home, you will be back for more!

They have the best taco salad I have ever had. I wish they would bottle their homemade dressing I would love to buy some!

Average across the board. Lackluster service, luke warm quiche and soup and a sloppy fail of an avocado toast have me wondering why it is ranked so high?

Parking is terrible of busy. One part of lot you can't get thru unless you back all the way up.

They were very accommodating to us and our pup. It was a hot, sunny day so they put umbrellas out at the tables outside. Food and service were good. Would not hesitate to go back. Would have loved to get a beer though.

I've been to North Main on several occasions and have not been disappointed. Their food is delicious and the coffee is good.

Their lunch is amazing! So filling. We ordered sandwiches, which came with chips and a pickle.
I was sad, however, when I ordered breakfast to go and my meal seemed cheaply made. Nor a whole lot for the price and kind of thrown together. I was bummed, but maybe just a different experience because of it being a different day and different service. But I will try again in the future because the food tasted good.
Heads up though, it's usually always about an hour wait for pick-up!

There's a cool deck overlooking the road but needs an umbrella or 2. I really enjoy eating al fresco.

I love North Main! The food is delicious and so is the coffee. My favorite sandwich to get for lunch is the Haven - so good! The atmosphere is very friendly and the service is great! Would highly recommend

Most fresh ingredients I have found ANYWHERE since pandemic. Really great and plentiful. Can’t wait to go back!
