This school is magical. Mrs. Pak brought the world to life in every way for the children; her ability to stay focused on the children's growth could be a primer for other instructors. It was strongly academic, flexible and full or real-world lessons about animals, nature and other cultures. She really knew each child. We were heartbroken when Mr. Pak passed away, he was a grandfather to our daughter. Mrs. Pak set the stage for a lifetime love of learning, and I am grateful we chose it.

I wish we would have considered Montessori sooner. We moved from a great preschool due to eventual transportation issues for kindergarten. So our twins started mid year preschool and are finishing up kindergarten at NMS. They have grown and flourished so much here and we are continually surprised with what they bring home and what they are learning.one day my son explained to me how the rotation of the earth determines the seasons and talked about a country I had to go find on a map!

The owner and the teachers are great. They have expectations of the parents to do their part as well.

This is not a flashy pristine clinical place. They use old books and worn materials and that's OK by me, because they seem to work just fine. The kids pull weeds, plant flowers, and do work outside.and at first I was thinking " free child labor" LOL but then realized what they were learning about independence and responsibility and doing your part.

The price tag was hard to swallow at first, but it's been well worth it.

I toured the school and didn’t end up enrolling my son but I thought I’d leave a review anyway.
From what I observed, they definitely do provide structure for the children, and a good curriculum as far as I could tell. However, for the amount that you pay, very little money is actually put into the facility, the food or activities the kids are doing. They’re good at making a lot with a little if you know what I mean.
One thing that really concerned me was that all the children were forced to wear masks (even though the teacher wasn’t) and that’s only a big issue because they don’t have AC in the building. It was easily 90 degrees in there and that was in May. Now that it’s actually 90 degrees outside, I hope to god they actually have air conditioning in there.
The playground was overgrown with weeds too. Which I guess is a sensory type activity for them. To pull weeds lol.
