Nice place my first time there, and I really enjoyed myself. I'll definitely be going back.

Great atmosphere! Decent wine selection, good bourbon selection. Small and intimate lounge. Friendly staff.

Didn't have any food. Got there a little late, so was there for an hour. Will definitely be back again.

Nice little place tucked into OTR with a sweet vibe. The wine I had was very enjoyable (much better than what I buy for hole consumption!), and they booked a sweet band. Seating is tight, I think people are encouraged to make reservations in advance?

I'd definitely go back. The live was on the loud side, so if you have sensitive hearing, maybe bring some earplugs. But overall it was a very nice venue.

I absolutely loved how attentive and helpful staff were in providing seats to guests. One woman in particular was working her heart out. I watched her quickly moving back and forth always with something in her hands and busy making sure people were happy and had what they asked for. I was there for my friends pre birthday celebration concert. Drinks can be a bit pricey- but I did enjoy my time here.

Let me start off with the pro's. The club has an intimate vibe, nice asthetic, they allow outside food into the establishment, and the band "Sound the Alarm" is absolutely fantastic.

That said, the customer service needs work! Minus the doorman who was very cool both times we came to this establishment. As a whole though the customer service is lacking greatly in regards to the waitresses and hostess.

UPDATE:
The owner response is a gross misrepresentation of what occurred. To note, noone in management spoke with any member of our group of three while we were there. Which if customer service was top tier and they truly felt we were rude, would have happened to remedy any issues. Nor did we have any objections over leaving when our reservation concluded, in fact we promptly got up when informed and went to the bar to close out our tabs. I was so taken aback by the owners response I had to call the other two ladies in my group to see if they felt at anytime we were rude because I didn't want to misspeak based on my personal thoughts and experience. Also because I respect what this club stands for. However, reviews are a companies chance to take feedback with grace, and look into areas that may fall short. Not to respond defensively based on the hearsay of the very staff that treated us poorly.

I think the issue came when we asked the hostess/waitress a couple questions regarding how things work at Nostalgia as we are newer to this club. We asked if the party after us no showed would we be able to keep our table. We also inquired if we could switch seats to a larger table that sat empty for over an hour. We respected the answers given, which were no's, and made no scenes nor had any qualms. Asking questions does not make us rude.

Our waitress did not return to our table for an extended period of time which required us to go to the bar to get drinks. The only instance were I believe anything could be construed as slightly rude is at the end of the night I ordered a drink and then the hostess told us we had ten more minutes as the next group had arrived. When my drink came out a couple minutes thereafter I informed the waitress I did not want it as we only had a couple more minutes before we had to leave. She made an irritated facial expression at that, so I told her nevermind I would take it, and I did.

I frequent Nostalgia, this is totally my scene. I love the ambiance, the people, the live bands, and/or DJs and they make one of my absolute favorite cocktails, the "Miles Davis", which is a modern spin on the classic, "Sidecar" cocktail.

With the absence of a kitchen, they do allow you to bring in food. However, I consider it more of an after-dinner spot where you can chill and enjoy awesome music and cocktails.

Beat me there.

Very aggressive profiling at the door. Don't bother going with even a small group of guys — you'll get turned away every time even when it's clearly not busy inside.

I'm local and tried to visit this place a half dozen times and *never* have gotten in. This is the only bar in OTR I can say that about.

But watch a group of all girls with no reservation come immediately after and suddenly they have space. I wish they were honest and let people in first come, first serve instead of playing these shenanigans.

Save yourself the hassle of Nostalgia and just go to Ghost Baby instead just a block or two away.

Edit to the response: This is absolutely a review of my multiple experiences at Nostalagia since it opened. I have been reviewing on here for over 10+ years, reviewed hundreds of businesses, and never written a "fake" review in my life. I removed my name from maps due to being harassed by multiple business owners (just like you allude to) when I did not get them a perfect review. Please check the facts before you spread more disinformation.

Is this business page run by a 12-year-old kid? What a wild and unprofessional response from a business.and kinda funny how the anonymous "business owner" (?) has chosen to ad hominem attack a reviewer, instead of any of the claims about how they conduct business.that says everything other guests need to know. Please fix the flaws with your business instead of lashing out at reviewers that point them out to save others the hassle.

Avoid this place at all costs.

I've seen multiple advertisements about this establishment on FB. Decided to check it out on a Sunday evening for a Poetry & Spoken Word Session. This event did not disappoint! The atmosphere is so Dope, Grown, and Sexy! The atmosphere can also be considered Intimate. The BIGGEST draw-back is the fact that the space is so small. I didn't realize this before attending, but reservations are a Must if you'd like to sit Inside the establishment. There's a nice covered patio area but it still isn't the same as being inside. There's a lengthy drink menu, with bottles/glasses of wine available as well as signature cocktails. The bartenders were quick and attentive to the patrons, a Plus! Can't wait to visit again.

Went here for a after work happy hour, and I enjoyed my time capitally. The food was great, drinks were delicious and service pretty good too.

Very disappointing experience as my goal while visiting Cincy was to support a black establishment. Unfortunately, the bartender was dismissive and acted as though my sitting at the bar to order was a nuisance. She couldn't wait to get back to her cellphone. However, I noticed when multiple sets of white patrons came in she was very responsive and attentive, kept asking if they needed anything, made idle chit chat, while she got my drink order wrong. Welcome to Cincy! It is a black owned business so I'll complain online, but come back. That's how I do.

Just the type of place I've been looking for in the area. Somewhere a professional like myself would like to hangout. The live music hit the spot. This will be my new hangout.

Loved The Atmosphere, Literally A Great Place To Wine Down At Least Until The Live Music Gets You Up Off Your Feet And Moving & Groovin!
