NTB-National Tire & Battery reviews
21Horrible place to take your car. They misdiagnosed the real issue, price gouged the things they did repair. Payed over $2000 for an $80 fix else where. Also horrible customer service. Never called me back had to call the store over and over to get an answer. I will never go to another NTB again because of the incompetence of this location.
Do not take your car here.was charged $2000 and they returned my car without fixing the problem.took to another shop he fixed it in 20 min for $80.they do not know what they are doing and take advantage of women who desperately need their car fixed.this place is a joke
Scheduled a service on Friday got a call the next morning wanting to move it to the next Wednesday or Thursday scheduled it for the following Saturday got a call on Friday wanting to move it to the next Wednesday.
The service was beyond above and beyond. My tire was leaking and couldn't be fixed. They went to another store and brought the tire back for me! Amazing service!
Very pleasant folks had to replace my battery and the installed so a win win. I was in and out in half an hour. They do normally schedule appointments however so call 1st.
Sold me a tire in an emergency situation during a road trip, but didn't replace it for me. After a lot of malingering around, and bs paperwork deliberation, finally got, "oh you can go to the sunoco" [which was closed]. Called literally 10 other shops private and commercial all closed. One guy who was supposedly a mechanic didn't even have tire spoons for changing frickin tires yet calls himself a mechanic?
Skip all the bs closing at 6 in eastern columbus, oh for whatever the bs reason; the supposed 'pandemic', lost his dog, a Martian landed on the lawn, his wife's pms, yatta yatta - just go to Thunder Tire.
I have shopped at NTB since 1989. I have bought tires, had battery tested and also had them put the vehicles I have had up in the air to see if there might be any potential issues going on. I will not go any where else. Keep up the great work men and women.
Husband took vehicle in for an oil change, they torqued the oil plug on so he can't get it off himself. He took another vehicle in for tires because of the rebate, they broke the hood release handle off and didn't say anything. He called and let them know, they said they would order the part and never did. Do NOT TAKE YOUR VEHICLES TO THIS LOCATION!
Was first time dealing with NTB, friendly engaging staff, ended up replacing tires on 2 of our vehicles that day, highly recommended, picked up a set of Nitto's for my Ram an love em.
They get the job done. They also check your car for maintenance problems if needed. Let you know if any work thing needs done. They are all legit love love love them. Would never go any where else.
Scheduled on web. Arrived 5 minutes early. Tires mounted and balanced in 60 minutes. Staff was nice. Price was good. No Complaints. How often does that happen with car service?
Only place on the east side that could get my lowered 350z on a lift, techs (kyle and tim) were able to get my car right in and were actually knowledgable on my setup and didnt overcharge me.definately be coming back!
Been a long time customer, bought several sets of tires from them, ranging from cheap to medium and then high end. For cheap and medium priced tires, I have always had a vibration issue, was told it was from the quality of tire. Earlier this year I purchased a set of Michelins, put on a new car, same issue. I went to several different locations and vibration issue remain. Went to Discount Tires and they showed me the following:
1. One tire had no weights at all
2.3 tires were only balanced on one side
3.1 tire had too many weights, to counter balance other weights.
Have had 0 issues after 6 months with Discount Tires balancing. Normally I would chalk this up to a single person being new but I have used NTB for years and only sporadically do they balance correctly, most of the time I drive with a vibration at highway speeds or higher. When the name is National TIRE and battery, and they cannot perform a simple tire function correctly.should be cause for concern, this issue is not for a specific site, as I have used multiple NTB locations, from Blacklick, Georgesville, and Reynoldsburg.
A turtle would probably be faster.our appointment was for 10.car didn't go in until 11: 20. We didn't check out until after 12: 30. If you value your time I'd go somewhere else.
Had appointment for 9, get there and 8: 45 and the guy says he can't get me in for at least 2 hrs. Why waste my time and gas? Sad service! Wouldn't recommend to go here. Just my experience
My fiance and I took her car to get an oil change. An hour later and we're still waiting on it to be completed. I wonder if it's bc 2/3 guys are standing around on their phones? ! Her vehicle sat for 15 minutes in the bay before I had to say something to a "manager"
Hour and 20 past my appointment time. Car still not in. No one is even working on the car in front of mine on the alignment rack. All the guy says is yea we’re a little behind, sunday’s are slow. You couldn’t tell me that when I walked in? I wasted an hour and a half of my Sunday afternoon on these guys. Now I have to STILL go get an alignment. 1 star is too much. Slugs work here. Wouldn’t trust a thing they say.
Broke my door handle, didn’t replace the part, wanted me to pay to get it fixed, and pay to replace the part. Now they had to teach me how to get in my truck when it was done getting an oil change and I have to stick my finger in the door to open it. I Never had to stick my finger in the door to open it when I brought it in. Be carful who fixes your vehicle, they hire a bunch of guys Fresh out of high school with low experience
False claims on things that need done to your vehicle to try and upsell you. Often refers you to their "master technician" on 256 when they don't want to work on your vehicle.
Couldn't get my tire off the rim. 22" rims manager said he wanted someone with more experience. I think I would go to the 256 ntd for work don. Manger refered me their for just about everything I asked him about. But friendly and store was clean
