Nuevo Acapulco Mexican Restaurant, Fairview Park OH

I have romanticized memories of Nuevo Acapulco from my childhood and their old location. But in 2021, I don’t think their food is that great and the atmosphere in the new restaurant isn’t the same. The burrito I got tonight, as well as the rice and beans, had very little flavor. There is much better Mexican food in Cleveland.

This place absolutely always delights me. From friendly staff, delicious margaritas, huge portions and you've gotta love the chips and salsa. One of my favorite places in this area.

Excellent Mexican restaurant. We have been here multiple times and it is always very good. The staff is very nice, professional. They bring chips and salsa to the table as you sit down. Our drinks and entrées came out quickly. The food was delicious and it was a lot. You will be boxing food to take home. Please visit. You won't be disappointed.

Just picked up our take out order of Mexican Pizza and Chicken Taquitos. I've had the Chicken Taquitos over 2 dozen times. My wife ordered and returned home within 35 minutes. The Mex Pizza had condensation on lid, which is normal with a hot dish. The taquitos had no condensation.they were soggy, cold on the bottom.sour cream warm, guac turning brown. Obviously we were served an old dish. After patronizing this restaurant since they opened in North Olmsted I'm sad to say they have lost our business. Shame on you for intentionally serving bad food, unforgivable!

Everyone is friendly and welcoming. There was a guy making free balloon animals for the children. The food was as amazing as ever. Service was okay, but they were very busy when we were there.

Absolutely horrible business. Tried ordering online only to get my food rejected after driving 30 mins there with no call. “Owner” insisted that he didn’t get his money after I showed multiple ways of proof, bank account and email. “Owner” never justified our meals and when I wanted to speak to another manager or come another day he called the cops. The ”owner” is a scnmbag. DO NOT DO BUSINESS HERE, “OWNER” WILL STEAL YOUR MONEY, GIVE YOU TERRIBLE SERVICE AND THROW YOU OUT AND CALL THE POLICE FOR TRYING TO GET YOUR FOOD. Try Rodeo first, Taco Bell, or literally any Mexican place first, you’ll be disappointed here at Nuevo, very disappointed. Avoid him.

When to go to Mexico on a Monday? Try Nuevo Accapulco. Great ambiance, amazing patio.oh by the way, dollar tacos! Bring your passport and cross the border into Fairview Park!

BEWARE! This restaurant has taken the liberty of using picadillo to describe bland shredded beef that tastes like wet paper towels instead of the seasoned ground beef that the rest of the world calls picadillo. Buyer beware: no refunds for this fraudulent replacement!

Food was fresh, tasty, authentic and good value. Wait time for take out was good. Only complaint was the parking. It was a nightmare. Some street parking. Appears the lot is shared by multiple businesses and marked not to park there, but seems like a lot of restaurant customers were parking there. The lot is cramped, not well lit in the back, not marked well and difficult to maneuver.

All dinners were fresh, delicious, and a good portion. I would give a 5 star, but the salsa had too much pepper and the chips were very salty. Our server was amazing and the staff was well organized and friendly.

Best Margaritas in Cleveland. Cadillac type. Made by Janice, best bar maid! Nice expanded bar. Friendly wait staff and great owner!

Nuevo has the best food. The owners and employees go beyond to make you feel warm and comfortable in there establishment. I was so thankful when they got Doordash because I can't go out anymore but I can still enjoy there delicous food. Thank you Charlie and Vincente for your great place.

Servers were nice but feel like the beans were not prepared as they normally are here. Food tasted very metallic like they were cooked with hose water or they were in a can way to long. This is not what we are used to with this place at all. We had family from out of town and we bragged about it and now we feel like it was a waste. The beans with the enchiladas was not normal and use way to much cheese. And really should have another option for side of shrimp price instead of the insane amount they charge for small shrimp added to a salad. Very nice to my service animal also. Patio was clean but should be swept up after each table as there were ants all over our table and had to clear them ourselves. I feel there was some on the job drinking last night with the bussers also.

The food here is good. I get 3 hard shell tacos every time I visit a Mexican food restaurant, and although I love the portion of the taco contents, I wish the shells were crisper. They're kind of like when you buy store bought taco shells, and eat them without first warming them up in the oven. Similar to me always getting tacos, my wife always gets fajitas, and son rice, beans, and queso dip. Those were both very good. I've eaten here many times, and will go back many more, it's good overall!

Delicious food and the cucumber jalapeño margaritas were dangerously good! I would certainly recommend the flautas and the fajitas

My husband and I loved it! We sat outside on a beautiful summer evening and enjoyed chicken chimichangas and fajitas. The portions are large and an exceptional deal for the price. We had their Fiesta fries for an appetizer and they were incredible! Our waitress, Leidy, was personable and attentive. We found our new go to Mexican restaurant

We do love this restaurant but every time we sit outside the service is slow. I understand they get busy and I'm usually very patient. This last visit we waited an hour for our food. It was their regular food tacos and fajitas. The thing that upset me was three tables that came in After us got their food first. One of them had eaten and left already. I complained and the usual waitress out there just said sorry and that was it. Still waiting at least 10 more minutes. Our food came and our child's taco order was wrong. It then took another 10 minutes and I had to get up and ask to please hurry the tacos that my child was upset. I understand they get busy but they weren't very apologetic. We love the food but will never outside again.
