Oakwood Townhomes and Villas, Toledo OH

I was having a hard time finding a place but then I found Oakwood! The property managers Sarah and Lawrence met me in the leasing office and I IMMEDIATELY felt at ease with the whole situation. THEY ARE AMAZING! Not only is their customer service over the top but they went over and beyond to make me feel like I understood my lease fully and was 100% happy with the decision I was making. The whole apartment was deep cleaned and the carpet was cleaned as I was signing my lease. I watched the cleaners during the process to ensure it was done correctly. I would 100% recommend Oakwood to anybody looking to get into somewhere fast and easily.

I normally wouldn’t leave a review on anything. But, I am Definitely giving Sarah all her flowers. I was praying as I was reading the reviews that I didn’t meet the person y’all said was in the office being rude. If you experienced a bad experience with the management before I highly recommend you to try your luck again. If you’re just skimming for reviews then this is your review to get you started. (And if you don’t have no money or pay your bills on time this not for you.) She made me less nervous during my process and did everything she could to get me in those townhomes and I appreciate her so much. I really hope they hire more people like her.

First off we had to give a star to leave a review. But this place deserves zero stars. Do not waste your time or money. We filled out an application and paid a hundred dollars for the application fee. Only to be contacted by a very rude and unprofessional staff in which told us she doesn't know why the website did that but it's a hundred dollars per person on the application. Andrea is very disrespectful and that experience only made us not want to even continue. But we like the area and invested 100 so far so we continued the process. Only to basically get the run around and play phone tag. If you work for a temp agency do not apply. Although one of the applicants is on a permanent assignment we believe that is the reason for the obvious denial of the application. We can not get our hundred dollars back. Waste of time and money. If we would have read the reviews first we would have saved time, energy and money.

This place is HORRIBLE & filthy. The only reason they have 5 star reviews is because they coach you to do so when you move in.

These apartments are not well maintained. They have mold, leaking roofs, missing shingles, sagging floors and no one to do repairs. There are empty units that are full of animals, ceiling falling in and mold. Management has been contacted multiple times but nothing has been done. Even the driveway is full of potholes which could easily be fixed but are not. The pool which was a big feature was hardly ever open. I would not recommend this complex to anyone, especially for the money they charge.

The current team at the office is great, if you have a problem just stroll down to the office and use your voice. My two kitties and I have had no major issues while we have been here!
