I'm in my late 70s, have been getting annual auto registration renewals in Columbus for 20 years now, in Akron and Kent before then, in Georgia, and overseas (2 different countries). I used the on-line appointment at the West Broad Street location for the very first time this morning, AND EVERYTHING WAS GREAT. And I mean everything. I didn't track the time, but I'm sure from the time I walked in the door to the time I walked out with my registration and tag was under 15 minutes. Thanks to Stacey who registered me and the supervisor (didn't get her name) who processed me. This was the best BMV experience I have EVER had in all my years. So happy.

It looked Clean. The ladies working here were friendly and everyone was wearing masks. It is a 20 person maximum at one time but not many people had to wait outside. Thank you to the associates keeping this office running smoothly!

Employees are very professional and friendly! Yvonne, the lady doing intake, and the supervisor (I forgot her name), were so helpful and they made sure everything we needed done was done completely. We transferred from Florida and they made sure we were taken care of! Thank you for making our experience pleasant.

They need to tell people when their driver's license system is down. Instead of letting them sit for two hours.

The sweet lady who helped me gets 5 stars. Holly the supervisor, if I can give zero stars I would. She was very rude and mean, not just to me but the person she was helping. She raised her voice and turned her nose up. Not only that she straight ignored the sweet lady who was helping me "pretended she didn't hear her". It was Holly who refused to sign off on my paper for the fly DL because I had a rip in my birth certificate. She said "I can read it, I know what it says but we can't accept it. " What the hell.why? It's not like your shipping the dang thing off, you are verify its me. I had all the necessary paperwork too. She was being petty as eff! She should be removed! I feel she is a closet racist and screwing people because she can.

A fairly quick and painless process, do your research for what you need to bring, come early (before they open), be prepared and a little patient

Believe it or not. We have all had our experiences, good and bad with BMV. I’m hear to tell that this office is highly efficient. Wait time less than 5 minutes after checking in. A helpful tip is to view on line paperwork requirements prior to your visit. This office was clean. The staff are very friendly and helpful and know their jobs very well.

I'm actually replying to the person who said the new license has nothing to do with terrorism.it has to do with homeland security.why do you think the Department of Homeland Security was formed? TERRORISM! SO YES! IT HAS TO DO WITH TERRORISM AS WELL AS MULTITUDE OF OTHER PROBLEMS. LIKE ILLEGAL ALIENS! THAT'S WHY YOU NEED A BIRTH CERTIFICATE TO EVEN GET AN ID! STOP MAKING EVERYTHING ABOUT RACISM! THIS IS ABOUT THE SECURITY OF OUR COUNTRY FROM FOREIGN AND DOMESTIC TERRORISM!

The staff were very friendly and were going out of their ways to help customers.

Also, the new check-in method with text messages was nice and convenient.

Best experience ever. The one I normally go to in Dublin, they are always crowed and there is no place to sit everyone standing in an assembly line. Not hear. You check in get your number grab a seat. This was great I also got some work done while I waited was in and out in about 40 minutes during lunch time on a Friday. See you all again next year when I have to renew everything

Best BMV experience both times I visited.once to renew a license and once for out of state title and registration of vehicle.professional friendly and efficient staff.typically go to Cemetary Rd location because it's closer and I will never do that again.the Hilliard location is a nightmare compared to broad st - employees in Hilliard are racist to internationals, they sit and talk with 500 people in line and computers or payment is always down every time.so thank you to the staff at Broad St title and license agency.

This was my worst bmv experience. There are lots of new people and no real leadership to help them. I stood in line twice, just to find out when I got to the front I didn't have to. They have you fill out a form and hold on to your documents to help speed up the process, but it actually doesn't. They don't prescan your documents so the 30 seconds you spent filling out the piece of paper does nothing. The icing on the cake was when the worker answered a FaceTime call while helping me. Unbelievable. I will willingly drive to Hilliard or Westerville before going here again.

The worst BMV to ever go to! NO ONE knows what they are doing. Absolutely no communication between the state and this location. I have waiters 2.5 hours to get new tags and a release on my license and I am still currently waiting because of the communication.

Unfortunately they get a 1 star from me, the first women to assist me made a remark the new license was because of 9/11 and terrorist, the new license has to do with Homeland sercurity and immigration not terrorist, then she made remarks as the Constitutional Amendments won't and doesn't apply to every American, what? ! Discrimination and racist employee very rude. The trainee employee was helpful and professional on the 2nd visit. The place it self needs cleaned. If you don't want to deal with discrimination go to Hilliard they are very professional and clean.

They did everything to make sure I didn't get an Ohio license. Told me to go back to California and renew my license and then come back! 3 visits and no license. TOTAL ASSHATS.

I see a lot of negative reviews on here and as a somewhat recent Maryland transplant Ill just say you all dont know how good you have it. Everytime Ive had to go in Ive been in and out. Can take care of business on my lunch break oppossed to taking a full day off work like I am used to. Very good. Very friendly
