They never want to give you full pricing details on anything. So they tell you it’s one price, then once it’s all said and done, the price is double… with no real explanation other than “yeah, that’s just what it says”. Unprofessional and everyone in there hates their job.

My experience here helping my mom who is a senior get a new Ohio ID was good. My advice is to make sure you check in by scanning the QR code, look for the text, and then respond immediately with why you're there. It's just like how it was during COVID.

There were seats for my mom to sit in while we waited. However the seats are not in front of the TV displaying the called number and window. So be aware that if you sit down you need to check the TV.

My experience at this BMV office today was totally opposite that of 4 years ago. There used to be long lines and a crowded waiting area. Today, I went to renew my driver's license and was in and out within 20 minutes. They now have a check-in system that is very efficient. Staff was friendly and the entire process went smoothly, with about a 5-minute wait. The office is small, so the noise level is distracting, but tolerable. Overall, I would say this office has been transformed. Congratulations to management and staff!

Not disability friendly. Literally there to get a handicap placard and can't stand long enough to fill out paperwork. People are not friendly. The BMV in Great Southern has kind employees and will make sure you have a seat if you need one during your transactions. Don't go to the Gahanna branch if you can help it.

Their manager is a rude and condescending man void of empathy and decent human behavior. I was trying to ask a question and he just kept talkng over me. So I went to speak with someone else and he followed me after I ask him to leave me alone. I had to scream for him to leave me alone several times. Then the workers ignored me instead of the older white lady who treated me like I was the "Angry black woman" and refused to help me. Telling me that "No one is more important than the owner! " I just needed help getting my license renewed and their systems were down. All I wanted to know was if I can do it online. No one wanted to help. They rather sit down and ignore people why they get paid instead of doing their job.

The automated calling system keeps hanging up on me when I try to get more information then is available in the pre-recorded options.

The lady at window #1 was extremly rude on 2 of my 3 visits. I was moving feom another county and had jost got married with a name change. Anyone younger than her she had an attitude with. She had no patience and when asked to explain something she said "I don't have time for this". Ironic considering that's her job. The owner stood there and watched the entire interaction. Went during 3 different times of the day and never waited less than 45 mins. No chairs for the poor senior citizens who had to wait.

The lady who processed my license and took my picture was the sweetest woman and the only reason this review isn't a 1 star. She wasn't feeling well and was still super pleasant and helpful. She was the only good thing out of over 3 lost hours of my life.

The check-in procedure was a piece of cake. There are comfortable chairs for sitting and waiting. The agent that helped me was extremely friendly, pleasant, helpful and upbeat. Not something I expected to experience at the BMV, but I did! I had an excellent experience and was in and out of there in 25 minutes! (I did go first thing in the morning.)

Nice, attentive employees. Surprisingly, there wasn't a line. Maybe the key to that is to arrive 1/2 hour before they close. Gahanna BMV.

Everyone that I know always has a bad experience here. The staff is rude, and not willing to help especially with those who are trying to do the right thing. You'd think the employees would leave if they hate their job that much to make young adults cry in the parking lot daily. I feel bad for all of the local high school students trying to get their license and other issues situated, I refer them to the Alum Creek location.
