It is impossible to reach any person in this office. You call and listen to the menu, none of the items apply to what you are looking for. It says "press 0 for an operator". Press 0, you hear "invalid selection". Around and around in the death star menu system. Hours on hold. Finally talk to someone, anyone, and they transfer you right back to the voice mail menu. Unbelievable.

It takes days. Hours of being on hold to talk with anybody from this office. And then to add insult to injury you’re forced to listen to prerecordings about how much better and faster the online site is. But when you go to use the online site it tells you that you need to call the number to set up the online account. It’s a maddening cycle.

Edit: After two days of calling non stop I finally got to talk to a woman whose name was Debra I believe and she was honestly the sweetest and most helpful. But still one star cause like 6+ hours on hold is crazy

Seems like the only people that get benefit money is the ones that sue them. Will be seeking legal help ASAP.

Horrible inconsiderate and downright just wow (in a negative way). Was asked by some Joe Shmo, in an unmarked vehicle who had no badge, credentials, or proof of job to leave an EMPTY PARKING LOT and I couldn't teach my son to drive there. I've been using the lot during daylight hours after the business day to teach my other child to drive. Absolutely ZERO problems. The security there was totally fine with it. What's weirder is they asked my son and I to leave but allowed another person to stay who was just there doing something weird in their car. If you're going to hire security, make sure they're credentialed and in a marked vehicle. It was like being approached by a weirdo who was swining their d**k around.

I called to get assistance or see if I qualify for anything. I'm unable to work due to a terminal brain disease and very much hoping for some help. I called and the phone was immediately answered by Deborah. I explained what I was looking into and found that I had the wrong phone number. Deborah went out of her way to help me and gave me information to help me get with the right people. I'm so grateful to have been assisted by her.

Been calling for several months trying to speak to someone regarding pandemic unemployment benefits that I DID NOT apply for. I live in a totally different state and not sure how anyone file using my information, received benefits, but I received the notice at my Texas address. This is ridiculous! This agency need to be investigated ASAP!

I wish I could leave zero stars. Absolutely ridiculous that I have been calling daily for months and getting the runaround. The computer does all the talking and then you get hung up on. I get no answers, I can’t ask a simple question, and according to their system I’m 144 years old not 44 years old and I don’t know my own birthdate or social security number. I been suffering because of their lack of care. Thanks for nothing.

Whoever is the head of Ohio job and family services needs to see our review, please I have been trying a lot been a the year now, I'm not getting help from anyone who works there. They are getting pay for doing nothing. They don't answer the phone and they don't call back. Franklin County you all are good for nothing. Licking county way better. I'm not voting because of you people. I'm so mad.

5 calls before I was connected with a person, 4 calls where I was transferred (usually without warning) unsuccessfully, 1 transfer where I got electronic feedback noise. Not one person seems to be able to get me to the proper department. This is insanely frustrating. No one seems to care about my frustration either.

I received a fraudulent 1099G for unemployment and I was trying to find out why? But after repeated lengthy wait periods. I never was able to reach anyone! I consider this an emergency! I have been retired from the postoffice for 3years, and haven't EVER ASKED FOR UNEMPLOYMENT. Please advise ASAP! I have called the police, my bank, experian and trans union.

They’ve always been fair with determinations, and relatively quick given the current state of things. My only complaint is with the knowledgeability of the frontline agents. I spoke to five different agents regarding oddities in processing that either didn’t know how to assist me or flat out gave me dangerously false information. Overall, it was a much better filing experience than other states I’ve lived in.

The absolute kindest and most patient people, so happy to help me even as I made mistakes in my filing. Both Lorraine and Stacy wished me well and said Happy Holidays after we spoke. Very grateful for such lovely people working hard to help Ohio! THANK YOU!
