Polluted water in lake Milton. Very polluted. Despite funding, our county engineer has turned his back on finishing the sewer project that would solve the problem. U can see floating human waste in the water. Shameful ginnetti.
My friend and I were hiking in Shawnee State Park over the weekend (10/23-10/24). When we arrived back to the lot where I parked my car overnight, we discovered my catalytic converter had been stolen. Natural Resource Officer Aaron Warren was on the scene and had already contacted the Maintenance Technician (I did not catch his name, but he deserves recognition as well). Officer Warren waited with us until the Maintenance Tech came to our rescue. We greatly appreciated the companionship! As two young women hiking alone, it is comforting to know there are people in the department who have heart and compassion. Thank you so much!
