Ohio House Rabbit Rescue reviews
12Clean, pleasant facility, knowledgeable staff. Rabbits are well cared for and care is taken to ensure a good fit for adoption.
We helped socialize bunnies in care there on Saturday and it was a very positive experience! The rabbits are loved and well cared for. They welcome volunteers and gladly accept donations. We hope to go back
The place and the rabbits is adorable but had a rude staff member that we didn’t know where to sign up for socializing with the bunnies and she gave an attitude cause of that. Her name was bev I think she’s like part of the manger
My son and I volunteered here for bunny socialization. I wasn't sure what to expect going into a rabbit rescue but I was blown away by how clean it was! All of the rabbits are so well cared for and the entire building is spotless. We were treated with kindness by the owners and they made sure we knew all about how to interact with the bunnies safely.
The owners surely care so much about their rescue and it shows. I only hope they continue to get lots of interest in adopting the sweet bunnies!
The CHRS is full of amazing people who are so generous with their time and help with bunnies. I have worked with Danielle and Terry twice to help find partners for my bunnies when I had a loss and they go above and beyond with the bunny "speed dating" setup! It is truly amazing!
A special shout out to Cara as well! She is an absolutely priceless gift! She is an amazing bun sitter and groomer. And she is so encouraging with her advice and passing along all her knowledge.
I know I am becoming a better bun mom because of these wonderful ladies!
We have nothing but wonderful things to say about the Ohio House Rabbits Rescue! They are extremely knowledgeable in everything rabbit, are wonderful in educating adopters, and have the absolute best interest of rabbits (in their care and beyond). We would highly recommend them to anyone looking to adopt a rabbit.
Found 6 really little baby bunnies like 3 to 4 days old if that while my fiance was cutting grass we put them back in the hole covered them with the Momma's fur went back the next morning to look n see if it looked like the nest had been disturbed and it had looked like momma was back it appeared the same as I left it so I was afraid the mom didn't come back and I didn't wanna leave them there not getting fed ir being kept warm so I now have 6 baby bunnies. I went to my local walmart and bought both the liquid pre made kitten milk replacer as well as the powder mix and several little bottles is this enough by itself or do I need to add anything additional to it for them I'm so afraid of failing these little guys please any advice or tips would be great
The caregivers of this organization are doing such incredible, humbling work bringing love and safety to the gentle sweetness that is house rabbits. Their compassion and empathy for the each rabbit, its circumstance, and those seeking rabbit companionship are inspiring. The path that led me to them was wholly unexpected. And I’m a better person for having crossed paths with them and the magic they’re doing in the world.
I adopted my dream bunny from here in 2018. OHHR is extremely knowledgeable and I find them worth the drive from Cleveland. Adopt, don't shop!
A very needed organization for rescuing and caring for bunnies the way they should be. Trust them for boarding our bunny and the support.
Me and my daughter went and volunteered for the bunny socialization. Everyone there was so nice and knowledgeable and the bunnies were just as adorable as they could be! Highly recommend for volunteering or if you would like to adopt!
We adopted our darling Ranger from there 2 years ago. They really prepare you for becoming bunny parents. All of the resources you need are there. They'll help you find your perfect match. Bunnies are made to bond, they'll help you find the right partner for your bun. All bunnies are spayed/neutered and vaccinated.
