We highly recommend Ohio Metal Roofing. We received quotes from several companies and selected Ohio Metal Roofing based on our initial contact and quote from Willy, since we felt comfortable with his knowledge and professionalism. Our very large project involved replacing a leaking metal roof with a new standing seam roof, repairing undulations in the roof plane on our 1800s era barn prior to installing the new roof, replacing fascia & rake trim, replacing gutters and downspouts, etc. The conscientious crew worked hard and were very efficient, their workmanship was excellent and the materials that were used appeared to be of excellent quality. The price for the job was very fair considering the amount of work that went into coordinating the project (they coordinated a lift, a dumpster, brought all of the materials, etc.) as well as all of the work that went into the removal of the old roof and installing the new roof and other components. We are extremely satisfied. It is refreshing to work with people who care about their clients and their work. Thank you!

Ohio Metal Roofing is the only metal roofing contractor I would ever recommend to anyone. The skill and craftmanship were superior to any company I have ever dealt with. My husband is a retired skilled tradesman and could not stop pointing out their attention to detail and superior quality of workmanship. I know we will never need another roof on this house, however if I were to move, or my children need a new roof I would absolutely insist they use this company. They were professional from start to finish.

We own a SIP house (SIP = structurally insulated panel). With this type of home it is not possible to vent asphalt shingles. So our choices were 1) an asphalt roof with a voided warranty (manufacturer warranty requires venting) and a short lifespan because it gets cooked without ventilation, or 2) metal. We went with metal. More expensive, but gosh is it nice, and it's such a relief to know this can be our forever home and we never have to worry about another roof again. You can't say that for asphalt. Also it is so beautiful! We are new to the neighborhood and so many people have stopped to compliment and ask us about the roof. It's a stunner.

More details: We've had a lot of issues with this house and dumped a lot of money into getting it fixed, and this is one of my favorite things we've done. Every time I drive up and see the roof I smile. It's beautiful and Willy and the crew do very high quality work. My husband and I are competent with home repair - over the years we've done structural work, plumbing, electrical, window and door installation, carpentry, tile, flooring, finishing work like drywall, trim, etc. We opt to do whatever we can ourselves, not because of cost, but because we want it done right. My point here is our standards are very high. We couldn't do a metal roof ourselves (the majority of our roof is 12/12 pitch and we've got huge 30' gable end walls - yikes!), so we hired Ohio Metal Roofing. They did not disappoint. Because of the previous issues we've had with this house we anticipated running into problems once those asphalt shingles were torn off. And of course we did. But we quickly realized Willy and the crew were going to be right there with us to figure out a solution. I trusted that no matter what we encountered, they would be on board to not just repair damage but make the roof better than the way it was originally constructed. Examples: They installed some massive 24 foot interior beams to correct a section of our roof that was sagging, and they fabricated a custom metal chimney covering which is not only functional but looks super sleek. Other key tings: 1) Ohio Metal Roofing does 24 gauge - not many people offer this for residential, and because Willy and his crew work with 24 gauge exclusively, they are expert craftsman with the material = quality and efficient work. 2) They are skilled well beyond roofing. If you run into issues, chances are they will have the knowledge and ability to fix things. 3) They can work with SIP houses. We've found the majority of contractors don't even know what a SIP house is. I realize most folks don't have a SIP house, but I feel this is relevant because it speaks to their broad experience level. 4) We worked with our insurance company to get some of the cost covered. So if you have an asphalt roof that is damaged from wind our hail, don't think your only option is to go with another asphalt roof. 5) Susan is front of house and she is a dream. She navigates you through the paperwork, contracts, permits, writes everything up professionally, stays in touch throughout the process to make sure things are going OK, and she basically just really makes this company shine.
Bottom line - I would and have recommended Ohio Metal Roofing to friends, family, neighbors, or anyone who wants a quality contractor to do quality work. If we ever get another home, the first item on my dream to-do list will be having Ohio Metal Roofing install another 24 gauge metal roof for us. Excellent people and excellent work.

After several years of carefully researching roofing material and obtaining many samples for seasonal aging, only one product emerged as the best choice- metal. After two years of estimates and discussions with contractors, the clear choice was Ohio Metal Roofing. I probably had another two years with my 23 year old shingle roof but Susan (GC) was very professional and so easy to work with, I decided to proceed before metal prices increased. Susan worked tirelessly to provide me the best product at the best price. Company reps were on-site during initial installation of the Matterhorn Metal Roof. As with all re-modeling, there are surprises and mine was no exception. Willie and his crew informed me of issues regarding roof sagging due to the weight of my chimney. He provided a solution at minimal cost and the rest of the project was uneventful. The final result is simply stunning. I arrive home daily and admire the effort Ohio Metal Roofing accomplished. The fit, finish and customization was simply professional. If I ever build another home in a different state, Susan, Willie and the rest of their crew can build me another Ohio Metal Roof. Not only did they do a fantastic job of installing our roof, when some issues (completely beyond their control) arose, they went above and beyond to resolve them to OUR satisfaction. We are loving our metal roof, and the process, from quote to installation, was extremely easy. The integrity of this company from service, price and everything else is beyond what most would expect from a company today. My husband, who is extremely detail-orientated, was extremely satisfied with their work, too!

Ohio Metal Roofing replaced my entire roof with 24 gauge black metal roof. They did a fantastic job and we are thrilled with our new roof. They use Amish workers who were very knowagable, kind and professional. Their attention to detail, craftsmanship and quality of work is unparalleled in my option. They were kind enough to even hang new shuttlers for me that was not part of the contract. We continually get comments on how great our roof looks and many of our neighbors told us that they would like one when they replace their roof.
