Benjamin at the French Agency in Rushville, IN, placed me with Ohio Mutual Insurance Group. I would highly recommend Benjamin at French. Very professional, replies in a timely manner, is very knowledgeable, and a very pleasant person. By the blessing of God, I've not needed to interact with Ohio Mutual for claims but I feel if they were not a good fit for my insurance needs, Benjamin would not have placed me with them. I can say their homeowner's premium was less than half for more coverage than what Liberty Mutual was going to charge me for my second year with them. So far, I'm pleasantly pleased.

I had a recent claim for my auto insurance, I called my local agent Sheward and Fulks and they got me in contact with the appraiser, I got to choose my collision repairer, and it was all taken care of with no problems! I also have my Farm policy, no claims yet, but I'm sure it will be wonderful! Sheward-Fulks have taken care of our policies for years.just moved to Ohio Mutual Insurance this past year and I have to say I love their billing process, so easy! Thanks Dan for taking care of our business and home issues!

I have had Ohio Mutual insurance for many years. They are easy to deal with, and when necessary, have always handled my claim efficiently and quickly. I would recommend them to anyone looking for Home and Auto insurance!

Have used OMIG for several hears now. Recently a deer ran in front of me, my vehicle was a total loss. The payment they made to me was very fair (more than i expected). I find them to a fair, prompt (did I say how fast they moved and wrote me a check? !) and respectable insurance company. Something that is very rare and hard to find these days.

A customer for life

Our local agent is very good but their billing is slick. I have a farm and ranch policy and they've added extra billings for sump pump etc.that I never asked for, raise their rates with no clarification. In the modern age, I truly don't know why we need a local agent when they provide no personal services anymore.
On the bright side, when I had wind damage to my house years ago they were quick and easy to work with.
On the bad side, their rates constantly go up up up even while my deductible has quadrupled.
And you can tell a lot about corporate when they only respond on these reviews if it's 5 stars. Seem like weasels to me. Be a man and make a 1 star feel like they're heard.

Pay attention to the reviews they are happy to thank people who keeps paying that's the only people they reply to when you have a issue they are not for you at all the value of your vehicle or property is what they say it is respond to some of the bad reviews Ohio mutual.

Great rates but you will find out why they are cheaper when you have to file a claim the option for 0 stars is not available that's why they received 1 star

Great prices but you get what you pay for. I was rear ended 5 months ago and still have an open claim, it takes them a week (sometimes longer to respond) and when they do, they make excuses, seem to have no clue about my claim, or blame me for providing the wrong information - true story. Long story short, they haven’t made any progress from when we were 2 weeks from the accident and I couldn’t recommend them less.

Full coverage isn't full coverage with Ohio mutual you might pay a little less per month for the coverage but when you file a claim you get a lot less

I wouldn’t waste my Timeon this insurance Company it’s the worst Insurance Company I’ve ever had I will never have this company again I wouldn’t recommend them to no one real sneaky you won’t know nothing into your mortgage company calls you to let you know that you don’t have insurance for no reason and when you call them they tell you to call the agency lol just want to let everyone know so you don’t have to find out the hard way like I did I recommend state farm

I've been paying them for years full coverage insurance once I get in a accident you find out what they are about they paid $20 towards a rental they don't pay for a rental then they lowball you offered me 16k for a 20k car after they already towed the car to their office.
