Ohio Renaissance Festival reviews
16The Yuletide village was decorated beautifully for Christmas is for all the attendees. Fun to watch everyone.
We went during the Yuletide Village. It is about half the size of the regular festival, but was a lot of fun, and beautifully decorated.
I come back every year multiple times! Almost to the point of buying a season pass! It's always a good time. I look forward to it every year
Have been going for 20 years. Love updates and new offerings. The crowds are getting crazy and parking.
Had a lovely time.
But the line of traffic to get in and the bathroom lines were just awful.
ORF is one of the best faires! We've been coming since the mid '90s and it has gotten better over time. We've been to quite a few other faires over the years but ORF is our "home" faire even though we don't live in Ohio anymore.
We ADORE the Ohio Renaissance Festival! We've been going for years and we love all the new additions. The swordsman, the vendors, the incredible food options.
Keep it up ORF!
We have been coming here for 11 years and have never had a bad experience. Well, except for that one time it rained and we were "forced" to buy some cloaks we were looking at. ;) We heartily recommend the Whiskey Witches tasting. They are hilarious. And the whiskeys are usually pretty good.
I love that the grounds were expanded this year, but even with the additional space, there are far too many people being allowed in. Traffic into and out of the event was horrible. I got to experience less because lines were very long. The only things I truly enjoyed was watching glass blowing and the Midwest Falconry show.
If I could give it more than 5 stars I would. It’s a great place for kids and adults and we go every year!
Great place to be for the last 30 years. Keep up the improvements over the last couple of years. Fun for all ages and sexes.
Best renaissance fair I've ever attended, with a solid dedicated base of fans, merchants, and show team to make it a satisfying visit no matter what day or time you attend. Season pass holders here!
Have gone for decades, since I was a grade-schooler, and now I am taking my kids there each year. Would be nice if tickets could be sold with a food, drink, and souvenir bundle like I used to get.
I've been to a few fairs over the years and this one is one of my favorites. Huge clean grounds that aren't too dusty or muddy. Fantastic performers- none are phoning it in or putting on a half show. Is it more crowded than the pre Covid days? Sure. Is it still fun? Absolutely. Lines move fast. Drink kiosks are prime spots for a fast brew. All the food I've had is good. A lovely place.
I have been going to this festival for literally decades. The amount of people that go to this festival is completely ridiculous now. The roads coming in can't handle it. The food and beverage vendors and especially the toilets are nothing but lines. It is pretty much a wait in line festival, if you want to eat, drink or relieve yourself. The whole toilet situation is not good. There needs to be at least double the number of toilet facilities.
The expanded space with all the trees/shade and the new craft vendors in the infield areas and other spaces are a great addition. Not all bad.
I was able to have new experiences with my family. I don't think I'll ever forget the experience of having an owl with dark, cool yellow eyes sit on my arm. It was impressive to see so many people dressed up in Viking costumes and having fun. Real animal skins are sold at cheap prices, and if you walk around, you can find a lot of costumes for sale. The place is quite beautiful and I think it will be a memorable experience.
