6 Purchased a Gravely ZT XL 52 within the last 2 weeks. Paul in sales gave me a great deal and was very easy to deal with. That's the only reason this is getting more than a single star. I went and picked up the unit, got it home, and mowed with it a week later. When the motor got to the 1 hour mark, it began to sputter and RPM surge. ORPE came and collected the unit for service after I called them. Apparently these units sit outside, rarely or never ran, full of ethanol fuel for extended periods of time. As you can imagine, this essentially destroys carburetors. Service has agreed to replace the the carb, but I have concerns about the remaining motor parts that the old fuel has coursed through. ORPE advised they have no uncrated models and cannot order any, so I'm essentially stuck with this unit and ongoing concerns for the future. While I'm thankful for the deal and the quick pickup for service, I'm just not sold it outweighs the potential future issues.
UPDATE: at 2 hours, the left headlight has gone out, yielding another trip back for service.
I have purchased 3 zero turns the last couple years from them. Their customer service has gone down hill since the business has been sold. The place now has a revolving door of staff and management. Told today they weren’t dealing with me. So I guess I have no dealer support and will take my business somewhere else. I ordered my parts directly from gravely today and will be filing a report about your dealership with them.
I would strongly advise anyone looking for a machine here to STEER CLEAR.
Tried to force me to buy a defective side by side, then forced me to lose my 500 dollar down payment. Wouldn't let me switch deposit to another machine. Absolutely the scummiest process I've encountered while trying to buy something like this. BUYER BEWARE
My husband and I stopped in to look at sub compact tractors. Nobody bothered to come out and talk to us. We'll just go spend our money somewhere else.
