Ohio Thrift Stores reviews
24The prices are out of control! If you are on a budget, I don't recommend this thrift store. I think they have forgotten that some people just can't afford store prices so rely on thrift stores to shop. I told my boyfriend to never allow me to go there again, just too frustrating when you can't afford to shop used.
You can really find good and even new things to wear and use like bed bug protected new mattress es when you don't have a lot of money
Definitely worth the drive across town. The huge selection of clothes is organized and easy to shop if you enjoy thrifting.
Advertises 50% OFF Sale but then it's only select items & the rules change all the time. Inconsistent rules for what's on SALE. It uses to be all soft lines now it's only certain "wearable" items. When you notice it didn't ring up 50% they don't remove it from your bill without a hassel. They tell you the wrong color sale tags then just say Oh I meant (different color) & continue to ring up items at full price. Just 1 more sneaky underhanded way of tricking you into spending more money.
This was my first time shopping at this one. I found alot of name brands clothes, accessories, and cookware. It could of been alot cheaper than it was but I looked for all the discount colors. All in all it was an okay experience and will return.
Clothing is sorted by color now and not by size. Takes forever to find something in the right size now. Not thrilled
The prices on everything are fantastic for the most part. I understand it's a thrift store but their are items that are just gonna be shelf queens. A lot of the inventory is super aged and not in a desirable condition. As a whole not bad and not horrible. Will be back. Their are definitely some neat finds though. Just gotta look.
Has a diverse assortment of used goods to keep you busy for a while! Usually the clothes are sorted by size like a regular store. It makes it so much easier to shop
Never had a bad experience, the place is clean and air conditioned and prices are typically much lower than VOA
This is NOT a thrift store, at all.its a for-profit business. Its like a walmart, but they are charging retail price for donated goods. I much rather buy stuff from VOA, much better (fair) prices, and they actually employ people from the community, who cant work normal jobs. I feel like they're taking advantage of people.do not donate to the NATIONAL KIDNEY SERVICE, IT ALL GOES TO THESE STORES FOR HUGE MARKUPS. DOESN'T SERVE THE COMMUNITY.
Great cheap place to shop. Had 3 different color tags on sale: 25%, 50%, & 75% off. Name brand clothes, fitting rooms, open til 9pm & quick check out. They also have a frequent shopper program. 2 thumbs up.
Just there and some women started yellin at a 17 year old boy after he asked her how she wanted a job done.she looked high pupils dialated.very rude to this young man just trying to do a job and needed some direction. Obviously she doesnt possess the people skills to deal with employees.especially a high school kid just trying to make a little bit of money for himself. And she did it in front of the customers.
For a thrift store the prices are very high, i have see jeans price so high it’s jeaper to buy new!
Half the prices in the store cost more than the item brand new. I rather shop at volunteers of America from now on permanently.
This is one of my favorite thrift stores in Columbus. It is big and laid out well except they mix the men's and women's athletic wear which makes no sense. I always manage to find something everytime I stop.
Great place to find decent clothing at good prices and they seem to have more clothing for bigger people than anywhere else
2nd only to Out of the Closet, this is a stellar thrift store. Clean. Well lit. TONS of household items. Great selections and SUPER prices. I go WAY out of my way to make this my go-to thrift store and I almost didn't want to write this review because I feel like this his a hidden gem and if everyone finds out about it, I fear they'll hike the prices. I LOVE love this place. Good customer service. Clean. Great prices on a consistent basis.
Its suppose to be a thrift store not new retail half off sale days means beware of certain items and tag colors which is usually white not included in the sales. Prices are fairly high. And selection is dwindling in all departments due to these tags.
Nice size place, bigger than average. Nice selection of coats, dress clothes, shoes & clothes for the whole family. Movies, books, jewelry, kitchenware, pictures & so much more. Great sales too!
