The Best Dentistry in Columbus! I’ve been a patient at OUDC for 5 years and they are hands down the best dentists in Columbus.
Dr Huber and his staff do incredible work. I have had root canals, crowns, tooth extractions, and cleanings. They never disappoint!

No payment plans, and they'll charge as much as they think you can pay. They will not work with you, and they can't even do some of the work. Shady business here

Dr. Pelkey & His assistant Kim were wonderful with my wife today. She has always been anxious going to the dentist, but they made her very comfortable & at ease during her visit.

I visited this office in an emergency dental situation (wisdom extraction) and received an appointment immediately the next day. The inconsistency started the next day. The first day i was quoted for a full xray, upon my appointment i asked to just have it changed since i just wanted one tooth removed, i guess they didnt want to lose money and came up with some bogus excuse of how i need the expensive xray instead of a local xray for the specific tooth. Whatever. Get back to the room he doesn't even look into my mouth for longer than 2 mins which cost 90$. In mist of the pandemic i asked if it would be ok to set up a payment plan on my remaining balance. I paid 200 for my first visit and would owe 300 for procedure. I was able to ask for 100 on the spot as a bartender covid has hit the savings account hard! The nurse repeatedly asked for me to produce the difference then went to get the doctor to speak to me. I explained the same thing i had to the nurse to him. He decided this conversation should be had with the door wide open. He also decided to go back and forth with me about how he was doing me a favor. I left and made sure i would have access to my xrays. I went to another surgeon paid double but was treated with care and respect and they closed the doors when discussing personal info. Btw they did offer me to try care credit never heard of it but this is when im one foot out the door.

Update: : as everyone can see with their responses their are invested in being the “right” people. Like i said the door was wide open and he conducted business that violated hippa laws. And as i explained to the nurse i would like to speak with someone in finances as they would be more fit to discuss that with me than the nurse Putting the bib on me. We adults and i will never apologize or make excuse for speaking to another adult anyway. The disrespect eas mutual. All in all i ended up paying 1900 cash at another office no payment needed as i tried to explain to this office but the pretentious “im doing you a favor” dentist was more invested in hearing the words of his own.

I don’t usually write reviews, but was very impressed by them have to give five stars. I went in today for a tooth filling, it was very quick and painless. Front office associate was really professional and nice. Dr. Pelkey was quick and efficient. I highly recommend to anyone seeking efficient dental care.

I don't normally bother with reviews but I would highly recommend Ohio Urgent care in Grove city. The front office staff is friendly and helpful and the dentist actually listen to you and make you feel as comfortable as they possibly can. Dr. Samuel Pelkey performed a root canal and was extremely kind and gentle.

I went here today for a tooth extraction and Dr. Huber took great care of me. I was in and out in less than half an hour and was for the most part painless. The dentists here are real professionals and I highly recommend to anyone seeking quick efficient dental care.

Went today for severe tooth pain that I've been having for a month. Another place told me it was just my gums, and when I took their advice nothing was fixed. The dentists here acknowledged the real problem (my wisdom tooth) and removed it quickly, efficiently, and painlessly. One of the best dental experiences I have had, especially at a time when I was in so much pain! Also, the staff there is very friendly, professional, and hospitable.

I drove an hour and a half for treatment and I could not be more pleased! Dr. Hubert was so kind and talked to me during the procedure that I will gladly travel again for any future needs! Worth the drive! AND they take walk-ins!

I was so nervous when I went into the office due to previous experiences. Not only was the front desk staff very friendly and calming, but Mary and Dr. Hubert were very comforting. I will be back!

Went here for YEARS, took all my kids here, and out of the blue, the receptionist told me (over the phone) that I could no longer be seen there because of my dental anxiety and the fact that I required an anxiety medication before my appointments (they would call in one dose of the medicine the day before my appt, which I would take an hour before my appt). The woman (the receptionist whose been there forever, Mary?) said that it wasn't just me they were dropping, but any patients who required anxiety medicine before appointments.
They're a poor excuse of a place to just drop someone (with absolutely no warning) who has a fear of the dentist, leaving them having to find a new place to try and trust all over again, which I still haven't done. Thanks a lot, Dr. Huber!

I came in here due to excruciating pain, had a broken filling with decay under it. Dr. Shumway asked if I wanted to keep the tooth and I said yes if possible. He then proceeded to work on me, which I had no idea what we were going to be doing because the only time anything was ever said to me was after the second time I had to take a 5 second break (I get very anxious when getting dental work done) the Dr sighed very loudly with exasperation and said "I can refer you to someone who can sedate you. " If I would have known what was going to happen I would have taken his offer. So apparently the dentist started doing a root canal, which I didnt even know. He never once used a dental dam, just a cotton thing that was removed from my mouth and reused 2x. He also didnt finish the root canal, put some temporary filling on it and then handed me a piece of paper for referall to OSU. No one told me what was going on just escorted me out the door. When I got to OSU the next day, in even more pain due to whatever Dr. Shumway did, they asked what I was being referred for and I answered them honestly, "I have no idea. " Come to find out it was to re-treat the tooth because Dr. Shumway didn't finish the root canal, which my insurance wouldnt cover, and the earliest OSU would have been able to get me in was 2 months later. So if you get anxious at all at the dentist and need a few seconds every now and again while getting work done NEVER come here because you will be treated as an inconvenience and as less than human when it comes to basic health rights.

Friendly staff and reasonable waiting time. I got a FANTASTIC upper, full denture and bottom partial from their office as well. My new "teeth" look natural and fit GREAT! This is DEFINITELY the place to go to get dentures and/or partials.

Dr. Huber is the best! I have a phobia of the dentist and thud is where I go. Dr. Huber and his staff take extra good care of me every single time whether it's for a filling of a root canal. He gets it done super quick too, so he isn't drilling in your mouth forever. If you are apprehensive about going but need to go, go here! They will take good care of you! Also I have to mention Mary, she's Dr. Huber's assistant and she does an EXCELLENT job, we laugh the whole time I'm in my appointment!
