2Dr MacDowell is very thorough and is always willing to listen. I appreciate his knowledge and experience. My family has been seeing Dr. MacDowell for over 15 years. When he has not been available, all of the other doctors have given excellent care. Jackie Cross, NP, is also exceptional.
It’s very frustrating and challenging to try and call the office. It can be anywhere from 7 to 10 min on hold, just to merely confirm an appointment. In addition: in my opinion, I feel that this office doesn’t make it convenient at all when there is a desperate need to speak to someone or get a medication for a child that is sick, whether it be pink eye or an ear infection. Again in my opinion it’s quite a bit easier and more convenient (if in a hurry) to just go to urgent care, where you can promptly get answers instead of waiting on a nurse to call you back and then hearing well we have one available apt ONLY THE NEXT DAY.
