I haven unfortunately/fortunately been here several times over the years and it's always been a top notch experience. We rarely have to wait more than 10 minutes before going back. The entire staff actually seem to like what they do compared to other locations. I would NOT recommend going to the OhioHealth near the new Hamilton Quarter. This location though. 5 stars all the way.

Our most recent visit was for my autistic adult son. We had to go to the ER due to his anxiety with needles and needs to be sedated. From the moment we walked in to the moment we walked out everyone worked with him in a way HE was comfortable. They came up with creative ways to avoid the needle and he is already feeling a ton better!

I have at least 3 ERs that are closer to me but we always make the drive to this one. Thank you so much for your amazing service!

I am currently in the waiting room now! I have been here since 1030am, its now 130pm. They take everyone back for triage so they can bill your insurance and you get Charged a Co-Pay even if they dont get to actually treat you! I dont think they really care if you leave, they have already made thier MONEY FROM YOU AND YOUR INSURANCE! This is a tactic to make money! Dont allow them to triage you until they get you to a room! Even, if you leave without being treated you Will Be BILLED a Co-Pay! The staff seem to be very nice, but the wait is Ridiculous! Had I known this is how long I would have to wait, I would have just gone to OSU ER on N Hamilton Rd.

My urgent care doctor referred me here on a Friday afternoon in October. There was barely any wait. The staff was friendly and even went out of their way to find a non-standard phone charger for my phone when asked while I waited for my X-ray results. How considerate and kind of them. Best ER experience I’ve ever had.

The staff at this location were perfectly nice and professional, however the standard of care for patients waiting to be seen was very poor in my experience. There were folks who had been waiting for over 7 hours to be taken back to a doc. Several people left without being seen because they were waiting so long. As I write this I have been in the waiting room for over 3 hours. And when asking the front desk for any insight into where folks fell in line, no one received an answer. I understand health care staffing is an issue everywhere, and whether that’s the issue or not here I just implore OhioHealth to do better. We will be sure to not return to this loction in the future.

I have never faced any kind of discrimination ever in my entire life but tonight it was so sad what happened to us in the emergency room I took my mom here because she fell from a chair while she was hanging some curtains since then she was experiencing some excruciating pain in her neck tonight which sep 23 her pain got worse she started getting migraines she was sweating so much although the ac was on so I told her I will take her to the ER we got to the ER and we sat there for so long everyone who came after us were taken back I asked the front desk lady (she was so sweet) why everyone who came after us are being taken back but not us she said it’s because it depends how much pain the other people are in I thought that was what those nurses keep telling how will you assume who’s in pain and who’s not if you don’t check them at all Ian so mad I can’t remember those 2 nurses who were there when we were being registered but save your time and energy if you are a person of color and especially if you are a Muslim this is no the place for you the nurses are racist, dismissive rude arrogant and they are not caring at all take your loved ones or yourself to somewhere where you are treated like a patient

Very very disappointed with the lack of care and concern from the staff at the emergency room tonight. Went in for pain in my foot after feeling a popping sensation in my heel. They wheeled me back in a wheelchair because I couldn’t walk on my foot. They asked what I would rate my pain at, I told them a 7. They offered me no pain medication such as ib profen or Tylenol. They gave me crutches and discharge papers that said to take hydrocodon. I called the pharmacy and they said there was no prescription sent to them. When I called back to the emergency room to clarify if they had sent any medication over the nurse told me that whatever was on my discharge papers is what they sent over and to call the pharmacy back. I called the pharmacy back and they said they still hadn’t received anything. So I called the emergency department again and the nurse said that she had spoke to the Dr and that the medication they gave me at the hospital would get me through the night. I advised her that they did not give me any medication at the emergency room. Than the Nurse stated, “Well I don’t know. ” And then hung up. I called the emergency department agin for a 3rd time and a nurse named Ashley was able to clarify for me that there in fact had not been a prescription prescribed for pain. She said that the hydrocodon was a prescription that had been prescribed back in 2022 so she was going to remove it from my chart. I also asked her to make sure my chart did not list that they gave me any medication.

I also noticed on my discharge papers that they said my blood pressure was elevated and I should see my primary care provider to check it out, however they never mentioned anything to me while being there about my blood pressure at all.

The lack of communication and responsibility from the staff was very concerning and unprofessional. They made me feel like they wanted me in and out and that I was not as important as other patients. I don’t know if it is because of the insurance that I have or that I am a young black female but the level of care was not even close to standard. They didnt even offer me a Tylenol or advise me to ice my foot or keep it elevated.

Please take a look into your emergency department staff Ohio health. They are missing BASIC key components of the standard care you are to provide for patients.

Again, very very disappointed…

I Was Treated Very Bad By A Nurse She Was Very Mad I Came Back To The Hospital By Ambulance After Passing Out My Blood pressure Was High She Made Me Sit And Wait For The Shift Change Never Tried To Get My Blood pressure Down.made Me Suffer Talked About Me With Other Stuff I Heard Her! I Have Never In My 62 Years Been Treated Like That. This Use To Be My Place Of Choice But After This I Can Never Go Back To This Emergency Room. And When I Asked For Water To Take Blood pressure Pill She Had Informed At The Front Desk To Not Give Me Water. She Was The Worse

Was having elevated blood sugar levels issues on 7/24/23. The young nurse practitioner that morning was very dismissive of my concerns. Even though I was under advisement of my PCP. Her attitude was very cocky and power tripping. " Why are you questioning my education ". Her basic knowledge of type 2 diabetes / diabetics is very concerning at best and is in need of serious review.

I just wanna give a big thanks to the staff the was there around 10-midnight (6/9-6/10). My partner got a bite that needed to be tended to. She is terrified of getting IVs and our nurse (I wish I remembered her name: () was amazing with making the experience less stressful. She was extremely polite and nice to talk to. Shoutout to all of the staff that helped us that evening, it was above and beyond.

I have gone here 2X for medical emergencies. I have gotten prompt and friendly care both times. I work for another hospital but this ER is close to home. Easy access and parking.

I went into the emergency room due to an allergic reaction. The doctor that seen me in the emergency room grossly misdiagnosed me and provided me with a medication that gave me an adverse reaction. He was flippant and did not have good bedside manners nor did he listen to me or run any test to confirm his diagnoses. I followed up a few days later to report my expereince and left a message for medical records to request to edit or remove the misdiagnosis from my chart and no one ever returned my phone call. I took pictures and followed up with my primary care physician to confirm I initially had an allergic reaction and it was not what the ER doctor diagnosed me with. I will not ever go back to this hospital in the future.

Very nice facility. ER staff and nurses are very helpful and very knowledgeable. Doctors pay attention to patients. They do the necessary bloodwork and test to get any possible answers of rootcause of the illness and other symptoms.

Walked in with severe hand injury bleeding through paper towell.

Was not allowed to be triaged, was told it was illegal for them to estimate wait time, was told it was illegal for them to tell me if i should seek care elsewhere.

I was however made to go through a metal detector.

Absolutely useless and pathetic level of care. Better off going to your local veterinary clinic.

I brought my best friend in to be medically cleared for rehab and the doctor refused to give her the proper care needed and sent us to another hospital. He treated her like she was not even a human, she came to this hospital for help and was refused. Once I told them they are treating her inhuman and that we will just go to another hospital that will help her, they began to do her testing. I donor recommend this hospital due to the doctors being unprofessional and unsympathetic.

My Mother was sent to ER by the facility she lives in ended up being old clot. Her BNp 1200 they thought that is probably her normal. The head doctor in ER Dr. Marcus said it's just a blood test. I a retired RN from Ohio Health I was so disappointed in this experience. There was a lady bleeding all over the floor got delayed care told to sit down and wait also a man very sick diaphoretic and gray looking laying on couch looked very I'll. No cleaning of furniture in between. Very sad situation. I am glad not to be working for Ohio Health any longer.

I have came here before and everyone was really nice before but tonight they seemed not to care if I have a choice I will not be coming back to this location

I was transferred here by ambulance after a major car accident. Neck was in a brace for 4 hours.
Not only did they move me room by room and have no place for me (I understand it's busy) but after waiting two hours in a neck brace in pain, my boyfriend asked what the wait time was and they basically told us to leave because they had no time for me. So I left and went to urgent care to get treated because they had no time for me. They never checked on me, only took my blood pressure and my heart rate, which were both high. I've never been so hurt by a lack of care in my life. Especially after experiencing such a tragedy.

We were seen within 30 minutes of check in, the front desk staff was very kind and patient. The PA and nurse that helped my daughter were amazing and also so patient with her. They allowed her to kind of lead with the exam of her ear while still providing quality of care. We were on our way home in a little over an hour and was really happy with the care given.

Worst experience I ever had in this hospital! I got call for treatment after 8 hour and after treatment, waiting 4 hour for discharge paper. What a waste. If you want to waste your time and life, this place would be great for you! I was so much regret coming this place! Think million times before you come to this ER.

Security and the lady at the front desk seemed to be more concerned with my health than the medical staff. Dr A. Powell was more concerned with the time, he kept glancing at the clock the whole time he was talking at me, then actually helping me. I got in to see my family physician the next day. It took him 3 minutes to figure out what was wrong using the same test results that the Ohio health Ed had.
