Ohman Family Living at Blossom reviews
10I have been working at Blossom Hill in Huntsburg for 4 years. I moved to the activity department 2 years ago. I absolutely love what I do. We have a amazing team that woks diligently to ensure every need and want is taken care of or addressed. I love seeing the smiles and knowing that we make a difference in each of our residents lives. If you want to make a difference in someone’s life, I would recommend to join our team. This field was a great start for me to get my feet back in the work force. I have no regrets joining this amazing team including residents and staff.
Wonderful Management with Great Staff! The residents are cared for just as they are your own family! Alot of fun safe (with covid precautions followed) activities for the residents! Very clean facility with outstanding care and service!
I’ve been employed at this facility for going on six years. And in this time I’ve found that we are a Family from my co workers to the residents that we care for. It’s so rewarding to come into work and the residents happy that your here.
I’ve only worked here for a few weeks so far but I absolutely love it. Everyone here is like family. I couldn’t ask for a better place to work.
The staff at Blossom Hill are absolutely amazing. They are kind, loving, caring, and extremely professional. The facility is clean, and the food is delicious. I would, without a doubt, recommend this place to anyone needing rehabilitation or a place to call home.
Wonderful place to bring your loved ones!
I’ve been working here for almost 8 years and can say the residents and staff have become like family. ️
My loved one had a horrible experience here. Neglectful, non-compassionate, rude, impatient are a few words that come to mind regarding this place and the people there. None of the employees were ever on the same page-always giving out misleading information. They do not like families to visit-they try to make it nearly impossible for families to see their loved ones here. Residents are alone in their room for very long periods of time. When the residents push their call buttons, it takes very long for someone to get to them. Patients are allowed very little socialization.
I would rate Blossom higher if I could. I stayed at Blossom for two weeks during a very challenging rehabilitation after a joint revision three years ago. Their staff is tops and when I knew another surgery was imminent, I went so far as to change my provider so I’d be covered to receive care there. Great facility!
My grandmother is currently at this facility, she has been there close to 2 weeks. She is not allowed to get up out of bed without a nurse being present in the room. If she needs to go to the bathroom she has to call for a nurse, it sometimes takes an hour and forty five minutes for a nurse to even show up to help her. She was on the phone with a family member telling them about this experience and they suddenly new what she was talking about on the phone and now treat her even poorly. Very disappointed in this facility.
My husband recently spent nearly 3 weeks in this facility, recovering from pneumonia. We can't say enough good things about Blossom Hill. The staff is wonderfully caring and competent. They showed such care and compassion for my husband and also concern for my well-being. The private rooms were clean and lovely, and the setting in rural Geauga County made for restful views from the rooms. From admittance to discharge, we were kept informed about every facet of my husband's care. Lori, their wonderful social worker, arranged all my husband's follow-up appointments and gave us a very detailed packet of information upon discharge. The medical and therapy groups were also top notch. From the head RN down to the lovely ladies who cleaned the rooms, everyone was friendly and welcoming. Possibly the only down side is one you'd find at any facility of this type. The food was hit or miss, but this is to be expected, and frankly better than some. We'd definitely recommend this efficient, beautiful, clean and caring facility to anyone needing it for short term skilled care or long-term residential. You will not be disappointed!
