Olive Road Flea Market reviews
12I don't know how anybody could give this anything more than one star. Granted all flea markets are not pristine but this one's really run down. Most of the vendors were closed. Many booths empty. Just getting into the place I slipped and almost fell four times because there was no salt down or any ice removal attempts. Not worth the trip.
You gotta check out Big John's Booths, that guy has just about anything you could possibly need.
Not a lot here. Looks like it closed and a few people are trying to keep it going. I bought a couple of things at a great price. Hope they can get it going again. Looks like it would benefit the community.
Ive been a vendor there, work with the facebook group and not the fairly creepy guy in charge of the building.
Not many vendors present on a Saturday but to be fair a major tornado just tore through the area two weeks ago. Will go back after the area has recovered.
Today it was very busy at the other end. We made no sales,
Next weekend should be a little more exciting with sales.
Just need to get more of the booths open on the weekend. Real good place for a bargan on a multitude of items!
It's busy when the quarter. Is there on Sunday. Need mire advertising to let the public know we are open.
I really enjoy visiting the Olive Road flea market. It's been 5 years since it closed down. I'm glad to see it back open. My grandmother had a booth there when I was younger. The booths that was open had a variety of different things. Great place to find bargains. I wouldn't recommend the food. I was there last week and got some food there. Long story short ended up with food poisoning. I will go up there to shop but never eat there again.
Im glad someone reopened the flea market. It's got a long way to go to be a decent flea market but it being reopened is a start. Not really many vendors. I went hoping that all the former traffic circle flea market vendors would have moved over to here but that was not the case. It had a handful of vendors. It needs some updates and maybe some more advertising to get more vendors. Oddly several vendors were closed on a saturday. I'll maybe give it another chance in the Summer. I visited in Fall of 2018. I really hope it can stay and grow. Because flea markets are slowly dying off.
I don't understand the hours on this place I went there on a Saturday at about 2 and over 85% of the booths there was shut down what's the purpose of having a flea market open on the weekend if none of the booths are open on the weekend
It has been closed for many years, and is the only one I know of in the Dayton area now.since they tore-down the traffic-circle one location. This one is just getting up & running again.it should be ready for customers (and new vendors - sellers) by mid November. It is an old but clean flea market (considering it's age) that has odds & ends - like a huge garage-sale - so go spend some time (and a little $$$) there to see what old hidden treasures you can find. Open Sat and Sun. The Vendors don't get there till after Church on Sunday. And remember.one person's trash is another person's treasure.
