Omizu Japanese Restaurant, Parma OH

If you're looking for excellent sushi look no further. Don't sleep on this place! Omizu never disappoints - every single time we have visited the food has been perfect. And this is now 4 years of patronage at this location. The portions are generous. The wait staff are incredibly kind. We now live 30 minutes away and we still will make the drive or even take out to have a good meal. My personal recommendations are the American Dream roll and vegetable fried rice. I cannot describe how good the fried rice is. Unlike any other in the area. And all the sushi rolls have generous amounts of sauce and filling.

Our favorite sushi in the Cleveland area. We love the quality of their tuna. They also have delicious Green roll (veggie roll with avocado on top), which I can't find at any other place!

I have been to omizu alot for dine in. Never an issue. Tonight I ordered food to go. Spicy maki combo, beef udon, miso, & salad. The sushi I received I could get better at giant eagle for the same price. The beef udon for about $18 is a joke. About 4 pieces of thin chewy beef on top. Came in a smaller plastic container. Like it was a side order.

I love this restaurant. Everything I have tried on their menu is excellent. The sushi is always fresh with beautiful presentations. Highly recommended.

Jackson our server was AMAZING, could just tell he liked his job and talking to people. All the staff were great and the food was delicious at a delightful price! Cute restaurant, boppin on a Saturday evening, lots of nice drink selections and a really good happy hour deal, too! Bring your friends!

I have NEVER given a 1 star until today. I had my food delivered, delivery was excellent!
I ordered 3 different roles. They were the worst! Right of the bat, all 3 roles looked identical, they looked like raw hamburger blended in a blender and roled up. I thought maybe they tasted better than they looked. They didn't. The texture was exactly the same as blended up raw hamburger.
The seaweed was stale, dry and tough. All 3 roles looked and tasted the same. I got tired of pulling the seaweed out of my mouth after chewing on it for so long. This is the worst sushi ever.

Eveything we tried was delicious. The prices seem high at first glance, but the servings are appropriately sized to the price. The food is consistently good everytime we visit. Service is attentive and pleasant without being intrusive.

Very good atmosphere and high-quality service. We often come here for meals ，and we have never been disappointed！

Super service. Ordered the Cleveland Roll, Parma Roll and Cherry Blosson Roll to share. So tasty. My new favorite place.

What chef from Japan would put alcohol on uni? ? I ordered uni is and it came in a shot with alcohol? I ordered 3 different spicy rolls there all taste the same? You call your self Japanese

I’ve given this place, so many tries. I’m very allergic to mushrooms and every time I tell them please make sure there’s no mushrooms in my food. I also advise my waiter to circle that I have a mushroom allergy before they leave the table and today what happens I get a mushroom in my soup, and this is not the first time. I’m a person that understands that things happen but I’ve been back to this restaurant several times from the first time this happened and today WOW!
I show the owner there’s a mushroom in my soup and he explained to me this isn’t the first time it happens and makes it out like if I did something so now I’m upset and I’m also worried about how I’m going to be extremely sick later and he just says it’s OK it’s OK it’s OK it’s OK it’s OK it makes it out like I did something and as I’m leaving with my wife and my daughter that met me up there he comes out and comes up to my vehicle and bangs on my vehicle yelling. You didn’t sign your receipt which I am in a panic at this point rushing to get home being prepared to be sick, find you I did say he was banging on the side of my truck. I could not believe this and then he started to proceed to take pictures of my vehicle like if I didn’t pay my bill which I paid with my credit card and the funds were already took it out. The signature would not make a difference. At this point I am not a person that would not pay my bill or ask for a refund, what to bring on my vehicle as I’m leaving again in a worry and a panic state of how sick I’m going to be and that I’m upset with the way I was treated please be advised don’t support this place and I’m all about supporting small businesses, but this is not one of them.

I will be contacting the Better Business Bureau and my doctor along with my lawyer Monday morning.

If you want to find a good Japanese restaurant, this place is definitely a very good place. The boss and staff have a very good service attitude, and the food is also very good!

This used to be one of my favorite places to eat. When the chef's take people's allergies seriously, the food can be amazing. The past few times we went, not only the chef, but the owner himself disregarded my father and I when it came to our mushroom allergy. We clearly stated our allergy multiple times when ordering, and he and I get violently ill if we even accidentally consume a small piece of mushroom. We stressed this, not once, but every single time we have gone in and placed an order. This will be the third time one of our meals has been contaminated after saying we are extremely allergic. Not only was the owner unapologetic for giving us contaminated food, he was saying, "You will be ok. ", when we mentioned the severity of the allergy. He was very rude, disrespectful, and unprofessional. Not to mention, the kitchen has a disastrous amount of cross contamination. I had ordered a Boba Tea, and there was a fried onion chunk in the bottom on the drink. It was absolutely atrocious to be enjoying something so simple, then have it ruined by sucking an onion up through the straw. If you have a severe allergy to any food, please DO NOT go here, they will not take you seriously and that could not only make you ill, but kill you depending on the severity of the allergy. Thank god my father and I don't go into anaphylactic shock with our allergy because this restaurant could have killed us and did not care. Overall, this place is unsanitary, unprofessional, and lacks the competence to ensure the health and safety of its customers. Please, do not go.

We have gone there more than 4 times. We have debit card transactions and photos that prove otherwise. We don't want anything from you and declined your offer to pay multiple times, but you insisted on paying. When we ordered meals, such as sushi, which did not come with mushrooms, we didn't have any issues. The times that we requested other meals, such as the Hibachi and soups without mushrooms, your establishment failed to follow the notes and make the dishes without mushrooms, or simply even say you couldn't make them without it. We don't need an entire ambulance for the reactions we have, but you should be more cautious for those who do. I do not appreciate you attempting to gaslight my family due to your lack of interest in the customers' allergies. My family simply wanted to enjoy a meal together, and all we left with were sour stomachs and hives. So, thank you for the accusations and threats, but if anyone has the reason for bringing the law into play here, it's us. Kindly do better as not only a business owner but a human being. You're not the only restaurant to have mushrooms on the menu, yet you're the only one who has persistently made my family sick with them.

Went here after work by myself for an early dinner at the bar. Not a lot of good ramen in the Cleveland area but their ramen was delicious. Flavorful pork bone broth I’ll be back for. The sushi and calamari was great and flavorful too. Service wasn’t terrible but not great. I never got checked on at the bar after they brought all my food out. Never got a refill on my pop either and had to get up and ask the hostess for a box and a check. Maybe service is better with a bigger party? Regardless the food alone and clean environment is worthy of a return visit.

DO NOT I REPEAT DO NOT PUT AN ENTIRE DOSH OF HOT OIL IN YOUR SOUP AND THINK YOU CAN EAT IT. YOU CANT! That being said, the Ramen was better than Ichiran. And that is near impossible to achieve. The eggs in the soup were perfectly boiled and marinated. Sweet potato rolls were amazing as well. Service is top notch and no televisions in here and that makes it even better! 10/10 would recommend!

My favorite restaurant! The servers are so kind and the restaurant is so pretty on the inside.i love the design! I have been here soo many times and have had no problems with the food or the service.all the food here is delicious.i usually get a couple types of their special sushi and hibachi.their drinks are very good too! Their boba is perfect and their non alcoholic cocktails taste so good.i absolutely love this place and recommend it a lot!
