Cod entrée was very good.
Mussels were tasty, however, quite small. Service at the bar was very good.

Fantastic! We had the bacon wrapped dates, Arancini, Asian wings, and some other small plates. It was excellent. I had a dessert special- chipotle brownie- which was delicious. We will be back again and again

Tony, Ray, Lisa, and the rest of the team at Opal serve up delectable small plates, mains, and desserts in simple yet classic preparations that showcase the freshness and quality of the ingredients. Tony's pedigree as one of the most prolific restaurant professionals in Cleveland is apparent in the standards of service that all of the staff exhibit. Whether for a quick cocktail, romantic dinner, or group event with friends, this is one of Cleveland's gems.living up to its name with style, elegance, and class. A1 10/10 will definitely be back again and again.

Calamari - perfectly cooked with a classic aioli

Cod - served with a putanesca that even our guests who hate olives couldn't get enough of

Bruschetta - white beans to die for

First time guest and the ambience was wonderful. Much more up class than I'm used to. The menu was phenomenal and I wanted to try everything. The prosciutto flatbread was delicious.

We hosted our monthly networking event at Opal in November. It was a fantastic experience for all our attendees. The customer service was great, the food was perfect, and they provided us with our own section for our guests to move around and connect with each other. I've visited Opal on Peal many times and always enjoy the experience. They have a outstanding wine selection and the perfect atmosphere to connect with friends. Get the calamari you will not be disappointed, by far the best you'll ever have!

Opal on Pearl hosted a Holiday Event for us in November. They went above and beyond to provide fantastic service, food, and great wine. The ambiance of Opal is spectacular and is an absolute hidden gem of Cleveland.

Love this place. Nicest restaurant in Old Brooklyn but nothing but humble people who run it and work there. Hoping for more places like this soon!

The food is great and the menu changes regularly along with the drink menu. Everything I've had has been absolutely wonderful. The interior is beautiful, what a great place in the heart of Old Brooklyn

We did the curbside, amazing service and fresh hot food. Everything was quality. Mushroom Bisque was full of earthy mushroom flavor without relying on heavy doses of heavy cream.

Sirloin was cooked great and paired great with the basalmic glaze. Star of the show was the roasted butternut squash ravioli, amazing creamy filling seasoned with nutmeg and browned to perfection in butter and fresh sage.

Brownie was nothing like I’ve had before. Texture was fluffy yet rich and flavor of the raspberry and chipotle were well balanced. Perfect ending to a perfect meal. Will return for sure.

I ended up getting the tomato bisque and shrimp linguine very tasty, well worth it. Also ended up getting some Asian wings, little bit of heat but great flavor.
