Gym Orangetheory Fitness reviews
15Otf rookwood has been one of the best studios I’ve been to. The staff at the front are so friendly and the coaches and members are so motivating and encourage you to push you to do your best!
I started orangetheory in August 2023. I'm grateful that I picked this gym because I've felt nothing but acceptance from the entire staff. I've been doing group fitting classes for nearly 10 years and moving back to Cincinnati from the West coast this place saved me. And I love all the challenges and goals that are offered.
Lots of types of classes/exercises, great coaches, and a fun and encouraging atmosphere. I love it!
I have been a member for multiple years and have loved every moment. The coaches and staff are always friendly and welcoming.
10/10 studio - coaches are the best, front desk staff is incredibly friendly, and the classes are so much fun!
I’ve been going to this location for about a year and I love it so much! The coaches and staff are so welcoming and encouraging. They bring so much energy to every class. I love the accountability that Orangetheory offers. Plus, they make it so easy! I don’t have to think about what to do or even what music to listen to. I just have to get myself there and put in the work. All kinds of body types, ages, and fitness levels attend, and I have never felt uncomfortable or out of place. It is definitely a high paced environment, but there are always options or modifications that allow you to work at your own pace and skill level. I like that you can drop in at any location, but I keep choosing to return to Rookwood! Such a positive energy there! Try it out!
Great community! Awesome workouts! Amazing coaches! This is my favorite Cincinnati OTF location!
Joined about a month or so ago, and I don’t have a single bad thing to say about OTF Rookwood!
Staff is always welcoming and supportive. Space is always clean. Instructors keep you motivated and assist when you need it.
Great workout every time- highly recommend
This is my favorite studio out of all I’ve been to across the country! The coaches and the rest of the team are fabulous! In some studios they tell the entire class what to do, but then don’t provide personalized coaching throughout - they do here! Form is so important, so that’s critical! Highly recommend this studio!
Orange theory gives me something to look forward to each week! Since my first class the staff at the Rookwood location have been welcoming and supportive. They have helped me push my limits and become more confident outside of the gym, I recommend giving it a try!
I love Orangetheory Fitness in Rookwood! The staff members are super welcoming and bring a great energy to the workout!
OTF is the best. You get community while also getting one on one coaching. That coaching is a key part of OTF that up-levels the classes. They want to ensure your form is on point, you don’t get injured and you are able to tackle the dynamic nature of the classes with success. You’re going to want that coaching because OTF is challenging. But that challenge will absolutely change your fitness capabilities for the better.
Orange Theory Rookwood rocks! The staff at the front desk is always helpful and welcoming. The coaches are super motivating, and encourage you to challenge yourself with each workout. I look forward to every class I sign up for!
You guys need to figure out a way to inform a first time goer on the “instructions” on what to do during your first class online. I don’t even understand why you need to give such detailed instructions. I know how to use a treadmill, a rower, and how to pick up weights. It’s not that hard. You don’t need a first time guest to get there “30 minutes” early before their class. That is a waste of my time. And to move me to a later class because I didn’t get there early enough is ridiculous. This is so annoying and inconvenient and that’s the last thing people want when going to a workout class. Safe to say I’ll literally NEVER sign up for orange theory so congrats on not getting that commission and losing out on $100 a month.
I tired first time class and just had worse experience ever. Not welcoming to new comers that have zero experience with working out. I left the class with in first 10 mins, as they did not explain things well nor did they try to help me get settled. This is fast pace class, not recommended for beginners. This left me feeling very out of place and did not belong. Wish I knew this class was not for beginners when I had signed up. The 30 min orientation, did not help explain anything either. They just have you watch them use the machine. With no guidance or help you get set up. I do not recommend this place for anyone new to working out and looking for more guidance than this place has to offer.
