15Such a fun shop! Something for every level of pokemon interest here. From stuffies, to the latest card sets. And while pokemon is expensive, they don't seem like they gouge their prices. They also motivate local youth to do well in school with freebies for good report cards, which I feel like is almost unheard of in this day and age, and so important. I'll keep buying from them for that reason alone! All of the staff seemed very nice. We were helped by Connor, who was super helpful with suggestions and my son and I had a great time talking Pokemon with him.
Awesome store! Definitely check it out if you are in the area. Most prices are better than pokemon center.
Was a really fun store. Took my three boys there and they had a blast looking at all the plushies. I think the prices were fair and being able to see the Pokemon plushies in person was very special for me kids!
Normal priced items, have a great selection and it's not just plushies, card area was added. Rewards system is awesome
Love it! I don't get to visit Fairfield Mall often but this is the first place I go when we visit! So fun, and awesome we can choose things that come from Japan
Pretty cool place, some stuff was a little priceybut the card selection was awrsome all the same. Mostly pluahies yhough.
Tons of imports. Be aware though some of the stuff you can get at the pokemon center cheaper online that aren't imported.
This is the ONLY reason I come to Ohio. I’m such a huge Pokemon fan and I’m glad this exists- I hope it stays that way for a long time. I love the selection! Prices may be a little eh but they are directly imported from Japan.
This place is simply catering to the overblown hype, and has a lot of its traffic for people being interested in something like this with a physical location. The prices here are astronomical, and I guarantee you can find most, if not all, of their inventory online for half the price. It's a cool place to look at, but again, don't waste your money actually buying something here.
Went back in April and I loved this whole store! Wish I had more money to buy a bunch of plush!
All stuffed animals you see except for a couple are from Original 151. It is THE Pokémon center of Ohio. Best place for anything Pokémon.
To anyone complaining that the employees don't acknowledge them.go somewhere else. It's not a requirement to acknowledge your presence. Just keep to yourself (like a normal person) and shop there, or leave. It's that simple.
The store is not only pleasing to the eye but it is just a must visit if in the mall, only bad part is the plushies are slightly expensive
I came here all the way from Columbus on my birthday to "treat myself", and left with entirely too much stuff. The selection was a Poke-fan's paradise! I do know the Sitting Cuties are a bit of an upcharge from the Pokemon Center online store, so I might recommend checking there first for ones that aren't sold out yet. Keep in mind that you would have to pay shipping and wait for your item (s) though. But for ones that are sold out like my Sunshine Form Cherrim, it's a no-brainer! The medium-sized plushies were about $35 each, but I felt that was reasonable because of the size, quality (they're soft and fuzzy), and the fact that they're Japan-exclusive. I had a hard time pulling myself out of there, lol. If you are a Pokemon fan, I definitely recommend checking this place out at least once. I've no doubt that I'll be back.
P. S. I almost didn't buy the Dedenne plush, but I'm so glad my husband talked me into it because "Denny" was my main in Scarlet, and I would have kicked myself from Ohio to the west coast and back if I had left it behind.
This is a cool little shop if you have never seen it. The first time that I saw it, I was extremely excited.
Everything is overpriced. Like way overpriced. You can get the same items from the pokemoncenter online for cheaper.
Both times I've been there the employees never said hi or anything, they just talked to themselves the entire time. Not talking to one guest that came in.
Edit: I am giving it one stars now. Im convinced these employees do not know how to interact with people. I did buy some pokemon cards because it was paldea japanese. But I went in there twice and the girl barely said a word to me. I'm over it. I'll buy my stuff elsewhere.
Edit 2: I went and showed my friend this place because he's from out of state. He said the same thing I did and didn't buy anything because the people who work there didn't acknowledge us and were standing talking in front of the cards. Only once he asked about a booster box did one employee chipper up and help. Get better employees and you will have better business.
Everything Pokemon - if you like Pokemon or your kids like Pokemon be ready to spend. Very clean, neat layouts, organized store. Seems to be a bit pricey on the high side, but I suppose where else are you going to find some of these items. Very interesting store to have in the Dayton area, and in a mall that seems to be from the 80's in a good way.
