Orthopedic Clinic OrthoNeuro reviews
17Very rude.did not look at the results from m.r. I.instead took 2 xrays and was EXTREMELY rude saying "I'm sure them nti results are not gonna show anything these xrays wont". By the time I got home.mind u k love an hr and a half away. I was in tears. I do not know his reasoning for being that way towards me.i had never seen this man before and i will be having a second opinion.scheduling today.thank you fkr the chance of a feedback!
My experience with Dr. Gittins has been very positive. After my first surgery with Dr. Gittens my recovery was quick. He did his work well and professionally. Also Dr. Gittens is very helpful and understanding of my needs. I am very thankful and happy with this doctors abilities. His assistant, Sarah, was very good with her abilities and assistance.
I drove 2+hours to find none of my X-rays, etc had been looked at
Then I walked 6 steps across a room to be told to stay away from surgeons
Not a word about the pain I have daily or how to handle it
May be a awesome surgeon, I heard that and was reason I went there, but pretty useless waste of time for me. Wonder if anything would have been different if private insurance?
Dr. Stephens and the entire team at OrthoNeuro have been great. He always spends quality time with me and answers all of my questions. He listens to my concerns and offers solutions. I'm a happy OrthoNeuro patient. They work to improve my mobility and quality of life. Dr. Stephens, I appreciate you for being a caring physician.
I have 6 different surgeons wit OrthoNeuro, and I'm so pleased. They treated me like a human being and explained things so I could understand! Not Dr gibberish.lol! They have fixed almost every problem I've had wit my car accident so far!
Dr. Stutzman and his staff were great, I was referred here by my PCP for a broken hand and they fixed it up beautifully. He gave me options and let me choose the course of treatment I preferred and had great bedside manner.
If it were possible to give more than five stars, I guarantee you I would do just that. Staff was very kind and hospitable. Success of arthoscopic surgery and arm manipulation was an A-1 rating. Thank you!
I first came here, cause I was told what a great place with great doctors. Won't ever come here again, nor will anyone that I know. From day one I felt like I was treated as if I was a drug seeker. I understand that people out there are pathetic and have ruined the trust of doctors everywhere, but when a person comes to you crying and trying everything you ask day after day, month after month, shot after shot, a cast, therapy, begging for you to do surgery, going to his partner and having put in more pain which made my injury even worse. (my family physician said "they should have never sent you to a partner for a second option") Maybe there is actually something wrong! I mean you can see what looks to be a table tennis ball sticking out of my wrist. Then never receiving the call back from you people on where to go from there. The only contact I received was a 1800.00 bill. Still to this day after almost 2 years nothing has changed, I'm suffering with my injury since I can't afford another med bill. You can still see it on my wrist, but nothing is wrong. At lease my family physician came to the rescue and gave me something till I can afford to get the help I need. Doesn't fix it, but much more manageable for 2 jobs and going to school. A big thanks for nothing Stutzman and Klinefelter
So my experience has been horrible with OrthoNeuro. The day before my surgery I did not receive a call from them telling me what time I needed to be there. It was about 2: 00 when I called the surgery center only to be told that my surgery had been cancelled. The surgery center blamed the doctor's office and vice versa. I was left to call and call to get the whole thing straightened out.
My surgery was performed as planned, but I experienced profuse bleeding that bled through all of my dressings and the pants that I had been wearing. Per the post-op instructions, we called the on-call doctor, who couldn't be bothered. He told me to wait for my PT the next day. When my PT person came out to the house, he said that this was not normal and and a home healthcare nurse sent out. She removed the dressing and put on a temporary dressing as the hospital send home an extra bandage as is standard. I was running a 101 degree temp, and again, she called the on-call doctor, and again he could not be bothered.
I called OrthoNeuro to see if someone could pick up the bandage so my home health nurse could properly change the dressing. No, that was against procedures. So two days after surgery I had to go back in to have the dressing changed. I know I looked like a homeless person (dressed in pajamas and the surgical socks because my feet were so swelled) as I was really not feeling good and could barely walk. They rushed me through and did not want anyone to see me or here that there were complications with my surgery. I WILL NEVER RECOMMEND THIS FACILITY!
My wife has a lot of issues that have been many ages or dealt with by the drs here. The wait times can be long sometimes however I we have never been disappointed with the service of the drs. Other staff has sometime been an issue but the care the drs give is top notch. Dr nowinski dr Todd. Dr Jeff gittens. Dr Nash. And may one one or two more can’t remember.
I will never use again. They treat you like a number it's all about getting your cash. Very long waits and will not return your call in a timely manor. Don't use Dr Norwinski.
Dr. Taylor and his nurse Cindy are wonderful. They take the time to help with all my concerns. I had an issue and Cindy had it resolved in no time. I would highly recommend Dr. Taylor for your Parkinson's related issues.
I have been seeing Dr. Simik for several years and I love him! He cares for me not just the injury or the money. He listens and actually treats me the person!
Set my husband back in his post-op recovery by not checking surgeon's orders. Be prepared to be vigilant about accuracy. Rushed my husband through the room and while removing equipment enough to hurt him. Like every other OrthoNeuro facility in our experience, they are over-booked and under-staffed to the point of harmful negligence. We switched to OhioHealth and will be advising everyone in our circle to avoid OrthoNeuro like the plague.
Dr Stutzman has been great while dealing with a workplace injury requiring surgery, and I would strongly reccomend him to anyone with orthopedic injury!
The only downside is that all of my post-surgery visits have seemed to take a very long time (30+ minutes each time) just sitting in the exam room waiting!
Dr. Jeff Gittens is the best! I have had severe ankle issues for many years, with a podiatrist who wanted to break my feet and reset them. I asked for a second opinion and was fortunate to get Dr. Gittens. Surgery was involved, but just what I needed and nothing more. He did a phenomenal job, and will be getting the second ankle done in a few weeks. Great surgeon, and more importantly a great guy. Much respect.
Doctor cancelled my appointment and they couldn't get me in for another week. Or at least they told me it was a week then ended up moving my appointment from Wednesday to Thursday without telling me. I can't make a damn phone call to know where my appointment is. Been on hold for a half hour. Absolutely terrible. The guy who gave me an x Ray had a huge attitude. I would never go here.
