Here’s why - the reviews were so bad previous to that so management asked the staff to put up reviews to get more stars (yes I was asked). That’s all I will say about that - not need to comment any further - just go someplace else. Without a list of things …. I will just say this …. You can put a pretty bow and a fresh coat of paint on almost anything to make it look lovely.

Had a loved one that recently had a poor experience at Otterbein in Loveland, Ohio. We had an abusive nurse that did not respond to our loved one for 2+ hours. Post open-heart surgery and on the first night of cardio rehab, the nurse directed our loved one, who was high risk of falling, go to the restroom on their own. In addition, they failed to order the needed meds. Management listened to our families concerns and tried to take action but still failed to get meds for 24+ hours. Due to our concerns and at the recommendation of the surgeons office, we had to call 911 to be transported back to the hospitals cardio ICU. This negative experience has tainted our view of rehab centers, particularly Otterbein. Our loved one is now so scared to go to another rehab center and we have elected to go with in-home care.

From my 14 year experience as an aide in the healthcare field I have never experienced so much love, connection and support anywhere as I have at Otterbein Loveland. Management keeps such a respectful level of professionalism while still maintaining a fun, family oriented ascetic as well as making sure they address the needs of every individual, (guest and employee). I told them before and I'll keep saying it, but I will become a permanent fixture at this campus.

Otterbein Senior living is a great place to work. Been with Otterbein since 2017. Our Coach Sonya is very understanding and fair. She has bought stability and structure to our campus with her work Ethic and is a great person.

Our management team is awesome they fought for our temporary point system for people who had points for coming in late and for last minute call offs.

No phones in each room. Was told that is because most people have a cell phone. I asked for the number as my mom is having trouble getting anyone to come to her room for help as they gave her a waiters bell on her tray to ring for help. I called the number and put it on speaker so they could see that the phone is not being answered. Finally they said oh it must be in a room as it was being used. So I guess not everyone has a cell phone and let's not worry about getting it back in case there is a real emergency. It took about 30 hrs to get her meds delivered and I'm not sure if that would have happened if I hadn't asked as she called while I waited to seen when they were going to be delivered. Once I brought up the bell again they said oh doesn't she have a call button around her neck, nope that's why you gave her a bell. They dug one up and said it worked. An hour later we pressed the button for 15 minutes before I finally went out to see why nobody was responding. She said the girls were busy. So this button really does nothing as it doesn't buzz or alerts anyone that help is required. Her chair seemed broken, but when they checked it out it was unplugged. My mom is there for PT and is 14 days out from covid and tested negative. But they are still going to quarantine her for 5 more days. So she is not allowed out of her room. The young girls there are more interested in their phones than helping anyone.

Worked with this company since I was 16, I have nothing but positive things to say about my workplace and the improvements they have made since I have started working there. I am almost 24 now, I would not change a thing about where I work! Management always answers questions, makes sure things are followed up on, and that the houses our elders live in are updated and safe! Happy to be a part of the team!

Our Otterbein Loveland Coach Sonya is amazing! She’s awesome with staff and our Elders…Sonya addresses and takes care of any issues staff may have …She a great person all around!

The best administration team so far! I been here almost a few years and the team put together now really care about the residents, family and staff! Good place to work or live!

The only reason I gave this star is because some of the staff were very friendly and helpful. My 88 year old mother was sent home when she still could not function on her own. Physical therapist said she was able to walk with a walker and handle daily activities. Because of this insurance would not pay any longer. It took two of us to get her in the car to go home and to get her in the house. We had to scramble to find an assisted living facility. We found one and the physical therapist checked her out and said there was no way she could live alone. Thankfully the new place is going to give her physical therapy the right way to get her on her feet again.
