Our Hero Subs, Springfield OH

My Philly cheese steak left something to be desired, but my fiance said his sub was amazing. The wait was a little bit long, but the staff was friendly. One of the better meal options in the area.

Food wasn't good the last several times ive ordered now. Chips are always steale in the taco salad. Subs are mainly lettuce and tomatoes n soggy they dreach the hot pepper sause all over so its way too hot. Pricy for poor food. (From main street store)

Unfortunately the sandwich I ordered was not the one I got. They very quickly made me a new one! Very happy about that. Sub was just ok

Stay away! The Main Street store is constantly getting orders wrong, then they want to argue with you about your order. The one time they agreed to "fix it next time", they LIED! When we called next time to order and asked for the replacement, the supposed manager said it had been over 2 months so they weren't replacing it. They had the messed up order on their credit book, but refused to replace it because it had been longer than 2 months. In addition, the manager was extremely rude in refusing to replace the sub THEY messed up! We were only going to the Main Street store maybe 1 out of every 3 times we chose Our Hero SPECIFICALLY due to bad service. We hadn't been in a while and decided to try again, considering this location is right around the corner from us. Big mistake! Do yourself a favor and choose a different location! The other locations are better, hands down!

In my opinion, best cheese steak sub in town.as long as you get the super. 12" under 17 bucks, but a meal in itself with the double meat.

Ordered from there yesterday (8/4/23). Carmen took down my order right and the guy in the kitchen made it perfect (I didn't think to get his name). Didn't not disappoint

Use to really like this place but 70 dollars for 4 people to eat is crazy 2 which is kids. Fry's was like rubber and one of the philly cheese steaks wasnt even cooked all the way.if your gonna up the price atleast make it edible.think goodness we now have pen station on this side of town

The Works on my sandwich makes me think a Mexican made this sandwich. Flavorful and spicy. So good.

Food is always good, but never great like it used to be. Well, seasoned bread is always good.

One of my favorite places in town. No matter what I try, it's always fresh and delicious. Highly recommended!

I have been going to our hero since they were on Selma road. They have raised their prices to an absurd amount for a 6in sub by almost $2 and they are smaller then they were. I will never go back. To feed a family of four was almost $40. Could of went to a real restaurant for that amount and left full and satisfied. NEVER AGAIN

These are the best subs around. We have eaten there for years from their first location to the one on Plum Street to this one on Main St even the one in Urbana.
I highly recommend the Steak, bacon and cheddar.

I wish they would move to Omaha this place would be a HIT! Ordered the Italian sandwich with fries and a drink. So good! Great service, great food!

I've been eating here for years the bread was so hard I was really disappointed but I will give them one more try but they definitely need improvement.

I’ve been disappointed the last few times I’ve went to the E. Main Street store. They’ve always been my go too for a good sub. I’m probably not going to return. The subs just taste different. I don’t understand that because I order the same kind every time I go. Today I was not given what I ordered and was soggy and not good. I was not greeted when I came in. Stood at the register for a bit while the girl was talking to the kitchen guy. He told her I was there. I guess her conversation was more important to finish than having a customer. She used to be very friendly and attentive. Not sure why that has stopped. Disappointing.

Our hero on plum st.is the best! I have never had a bad sub from that location but I ordered a sub from the east main location and I couldn't finish it because it grossed me out so bad! The onion, tomato and lettuce were rotten. The little bit of meat that was on it was unseasoned and cold. There was not enough vinaigrette sauce. It was just plain gross! I won't be going back to this location again, the last few times have all been super disappointing, paying 13$ for a sub!

It's a small friendly environment if you eat in. The food is excellent, and most of the staff is friendly

Went to pick up call in order but it wasn't ready. So I paid and stood back to wait for it. Checking out the place since it was my first time there, I watched the cook through the big window show casing the kitchen. The cook left the kitchen and went outside (through 2 sets of doors) while still wearing his plastic gloves. He returned pretty quick and went back to the kitchen wearing the same gloves that touched 2 door handles, inside and out and proceeded to handle the food. Can you imagine the germs that are on the door handles. I mentioned it to the manager on duty who went back and made him change gloves. Unfortunately my food was wrapped before she said anything. No offer was made to make it right so I never ate the food and will never eat at this place ever!
