Outback Steakhouse, Findlay OH

Aside from the hostess, who was very friendly and apologetic, this Outback is horrible. Unprofessional in every way.
I came in on June 30th and started to sit at an empty seat on an empty side at the bar, only to be told that there was a wait to be seated at the bar. As you can see from my picture the bar was at most 30% capacity. I pointed out all the empty seats & was told that the bartender was "overwhelmed". After waiting an additional 10 minutes so the bartender "could catch up", I was told that I could go up to the bar & order a drink.but that I had to take it back to the waiting area or outside. Yes, you read that right. I could order a drink from the bar, but just couldn't sit at the bar! I asked to speak with a manager & someone came from the kitchen and informed me that the restaurant was no longer sitting people at the bar. I asked why, & got no response. She just walked away.
I felt sorry for the hostess who apologized & tried to accommodate me at a table. I thanked her & said that I would be taking my business elsewhere.

I love the prime but it's so difficult to get the better cuts. I know covid may have affected things but dang it is disappointing that they run out so quickly.

I think they were short staffed. We waited 30 minutes and there was hardly anyone there.

The good was ok, but nothing special.

Just left here. Safe to say I'm highly disappointed and now looking for somewhere to eat. Got here around 2 this afternoon. The steak cheese dip I will say was excellent. The castaway cocktail was very good. However these are the only 2 good things I can say about this visit.

The service was painfully slow. Took almost half hour sit l for them to take our food order. It wasn't that busy they had maybe 6 tables counting us. Took the waitress so long to come back to get our order had my cocktail done before she showed up.

Got the porter house steak medium rare, with a baked potato. By the time we got our food it was after 3: 15 again we walked in at 2pm. The steak was not medium rare. Far from it, the thing was still in the field grazing on grass. It was raw, raw by anyone's definition and raw even by the guide in the menu. The baked potato well that was hard enough I could have probably planted it and grown another that was softer.

Now I will say when I told the waitress and show her it was still grazing on grass she did have the manger comp it without me having to ask. However she was the only person we seen, never seen a manager or anyone else.

I will say this has ruined outback steakhouse for me. Next time I'll make the wife and kids wait until Texas roadhouse opens across the street. At least there I can eat the food and not wait over a hour in an almost empty restaurant for it to show up.

95 dollars not counting the tip for food I couldn't eat. Plus side I guess Texas roadhouse is open now so I might just order from them.

Average food, was bland tasting. For the price in expect higher quality food and something that has great flavor. Not impressed. My 120 dollar order tasted like something I should have got at a bar restaurant for 45 dollars. Sorry not trying to be mean.just my opinion. Disappointed.

Very poor service overall. Called ahead for seating and still had a 45 minute wait.
Waitress was good, but kitchen was off the hook. Did not get our order correct. Also we waited almost an hour & a half until our food arrived, after we ordered.

Tok about an hour and a half to get my food. Half of it was cold. But on a positive note the alcohol works seeing how I had 5 of them waiting. At 9 bucks a pop! Needless to say I was half drunk before I got my order.

So disappointing. First I got a salad and didn't have any silverware. The ranch I got on my salad had some spice to it. The waitress didn't come back around until I got my dinner and she wasn'teven the one who ended up getting us silverware. Then my boyfriend and I ordered the steak well done and it was medium well. I will NEVER come back.

Food to go, 15.99 steak and lobster. You get what you pay for. Figure the potato and tail were left over from yesterday. Steak was a thick cut, but still a little stringy. Was ready at P/U time, so no real wait.

The food was excellent, kudos to the chef! There were 4 of us and we all enjoyed our meals.
The server was efficient but lacking in personality. Place was clean, including the bathrooms which is a must. Definitely stop again for some great food.

Had to return steak, black and dry. When it was supposed to be medium. Service was great. Waitress wasted no time getting right steak and brought our drinks, food and bill.

The service was slow and food was not prepared properly. Our waitress was also very touchy feely to the point of discomfort.

Awesome waiter! Kept the food coming when we had our littles with us. Food quality was good, but not any better than any other steakhouses.

Love their ribs! The Blooming Onion is amazing. Servers have always been very friendly and efficient. Prices seemed to have gotten cheaper through the years. Yet the quality has remained the same. That's always a plus!

Good place to get a good steak. However the last visit two people out of the four at our table did not get the order cooked to specifications

Good food at standard prices (for a steak house chain). Always clean. Have gotten take out food twice and it was overcooked both times.

Good restaurant on the outskirts of Findlay. Great steaks and a modest choice of alcoholic beverages. Friendly staff, rapid service. Can be very busy on a Friday night and during weekends.
