We moved into a new build in 2020. In 2021 we had several companies come out to give us estimates and designs for a combined deck patio for our house. We worked with Rob he was always very professional and up front with us. He did tell me right away that they would not be the cheapest company out of the ones we had come out, but he would give us what we were looking for. Boy was he right! He was by far not the most expensive of the companies that came out and he presented us with a design I thought matched our aesthetic perfectly!
Construction started in late September that year and was finished pretty quickly. We never had problems with the crews that were out and they were very thorough. The deck and patio are beautiful! They are more than we could have hoped for! (See the pictures below. We have added the landscaping and gazebo on our own.)

We were incredibly pleased with their work! Then this year we had an issue that some of our lights on our stairs stopped working. We called the company and they sent someone out to investigate. It turns out some animal (probably rabbits!) had chewed up and torn up the electrical. They explained to us they would have to replace the whole unit. They came out and replaced all four lights even though it was caused by animals and not technically under warranty. We also brainstormed ideas to attempt to protect the wiring better so the animals don't get to it again. No guarantee, but we will see. Their customer service is Great! We have loved working with them and would use them again if we ever want to do more work in our backyard. Rob and his team are professional and easy to work with.

Worked with Aaron and Gary and they were great. Responsive and helpful particularly in the planning process. Transparent with timelines and the estimates for non-budgeted items. Very happy with the project.

Outdoor-FX gets the job done right! From managing our initial inground pool design and installation project to seasonal maintenance, Outdoor-FX has been with us every step of the way. We have directly interacted with Bryan (President) and many other members of the team. They are professional, easy to work with, and make sure we can enjoy as much of the swimming season as possible. Top notch pool construction and outdoor living space! Staff are friendly, responsive, and very capable. We hired Outdoor FX to build an outdoor space with a pool, waterfall, travertine paver patio, fire pit, landscaping, and fence. We absolutely love it! The entire process from design to construction to delivery was well thought out, organized, and communicated. Aaron helped create a beautiful design with careful thought put into flow and functionality. He even modeled it in 3D for a virtual tour to help us imagine it. Gary ran production and kept the project moving smoothly, supervising the crew, and giving regular status updates. He was reliable and on his game. Bryan delivered the final product, showed us how everything worked, and answered all our questions. He was extremely knowledgeable and we especially appreciated him pointing out unique features that made their pool installation superior to the competition. It was a pleasure to work everyone. They listened to us, made us feel appreciated, and went above and beyond our expectations! We highly recommend Outdoor FX!

We could not be more pleased with our Pool and Outdoor FX. They did a professional job from start to finish. The level of detail to ensure everything was done correctly and every paver was laid properly was amazing to see and I did not think existed these days. They handled ALL aspects of the job from meeting with the TWP to ensuring gas was hooked up. After the job and they got paid, they still continue to be responsive to any concerns; even when it was my fault that I was using the chlorinator on the wrong setting! Thanks to Bryan, Rex and the entire gang for an excellent job. Highly Recommend.

We wanted a deck for our recently constructed home and knew that composite decking was the way to go. I was looking for someone local and was very pleasantly surprised to find Outdoor-fx. We met with Rob who helped us design a fairly simple deck that more than meets our needs. Construction was started earlier than originally promised and was completed quickly without any major problems.

The quality of the construction is excellent and we are extremely happy with the entire project.

We hope to do some more landscaping work in the next couple of years and outdoor-fx will be the first ones we call.

Note: Since these pictures were taken we have planted Hydrangea around the bottom of the deck which will close in the open space and make things much cleaner.

Overall great experience. Had to deal with Covid and supply chain issues throughout the build but was handled well. We still got a major outdoor renovation, swimming pool install, outdoor kitchen and build-on outdoor living room all completed well ahead of others we know. Products and quality were great. Very responsive to issues during the build. Even the very few things that didn’t turn out initially like we envisioned were handled and fixed to our liking. I would say not the cheapest route we could have went but you get what you pay for. Communication at times could be a challenge. Overall pleased and would recommend to others, and I have.

Outdoor FX was a fantastic company to work with on our patio, firepit and pool project! Everything from the consultation/sales process to the installation was smooth and well organized. They answered our questions throughout the project and kept us updated on progress. The quality was outstanding and we're excited to use our new outdoor space!

We love our new deck, patio, and outdoor kitchen. Our backyard space is limited and OutdoorFX did a great job of working with us to ensure we got everything that we were wanting in the space that we have. The project was completed within the time frame estimate and the quality of the work is great. We will be using them again to build a small addition to the front of our house. Highly recommend!

We did a large renovation of our existing outdoor space. We consulted with several companies prior to meeting with Lucas. Our first encounter with Lucas left us feeling that Outdoor FX was someone we could trust to help us with our project. Lucas created a vision for our patio that was beyond anything we had conceived. He took a space that had a footprint he had to work around because it involved our in-ground pool and was literally slowly crumbling apart and truly transformed it into something amazing. We use our patio much more often than we did in years past. The work increased the value of our home not just in terms of dollars but in terms of time with family and friends we now love to spend outside. Knowing the challenges service providers face right now in terms of supply chain, costs, and staffing makes the service Outdoor FX provided that much more remarkable. Every person that worked on our home was professional and courteous. It was a great process and we are absolutely thrilled with the outcome!

Bryan and his team wrapped up my patio project right before the Memorial Day weekend, which took about three weeks to complete (~830 sq.foot patio with seat walls and gas fire pit).

Overall, it has been an outstanding experience working and interacting with everyone involved at Outdoor FX. I met with Bryan on multiple occasions to assess my budget and design options. I made several changes to the plan before I finally settled on the right design. During those few months Bryan was always accommodating and never pushed for the sale. Even during the project, I made some changes to the layout and it was always met with a positive response and a quick turnaround. Bryan's crew works hard as I would see them at my house by 7: 30am and they would still be there when I arrived back from work after 6: 00pm. His crew even came out and worked on a weekend when they were delayed due to inclement weather.

The reason for the four star rating is more of an indication of limited time from installation to this review. Assuming everything holds up over the next few months I would be happy updating to give Outdoor FX five stars.

Update: moving to 5 stars now that it has been a few years and everything is holding up great. Just need to do some much needed annual maintenance.

Very cool place with tons of ideas to make your home THE place everyone wants to hang out.

Although they were dealing with the covid shortage in material. The work crew did the best they could to finish the project near the scheduled date. Great craftsmanship and they listened to input from the customer. Would highly recommend them for your project.

I hired Outdoor F/X after a recommendation from my builder. They installed a beautiful pool, stamped concrete pool deck, and a privacy fence at my new home. Rob the salesman was very professional, knowledgeable and helpful. Since I’d never had a pool before, he walked me through the basics, and explained the difference between liner, fiberglass, and concrete pools, along with the pros and cons of each. Throughout the construction phase, I met with the pool installer Nate and concrete subcontractor Paul to help tailor the choices and options to my preferences. They were extremely helpful in listening to what I wanted, while tempering some of my ideas with their vast experience of what works successfully and what does not. Once the project was complete, several members of their team came out to put me through “pool school” training to familiarize me on pool maintenance. After that, Jeremy came out to my house every single day for a week and a half to help clean my pool and get it up and running.
No construction project is without its challenges or complications, but what make the difference is how they are handled. Our biggest challenge on this build was dealing with supply and material shortages due to the corona virus pandemic. While we did have a couple of setbacks due to vendor supply chain issues, once they were resolved Outdoor F/X worked extremely hard and miraculously still managed to finish on time!
Overall, they are an excellent local company that build an outstanding product. I will not hesitate to hire them again; in fact, I’m already planning on having them expand my outdoor living area next spring. That’s guys for an awesome pool setup!
